    Abstract: A feeding and positioning device for toy gun comprises a barrel and a friction cylinder. The barrel has a bore, a convex hole, and a guiding groove. Two groove sides are formed at two sides of the guiding groove with circular cone shape. A width and a depth of the guiding groove are gradually decreased from the first end of the barrel inwardly. The friction cylinder has a hollow and elastic cylinder body covered at the first end of the barrel and a friction portion arranged inside the cylinder portion and inserted into the convex hole inwardly. The bullet is aligned by the groove sides and then cooperated with the friction portion to form three-point guiding position to downwardly press the bullet to be precisely fed. It may prevent the bullet from skewed error and improve the range of firing, effective potential energy, and hit rate.

    Abstract: A barrel assembly for use in a firearm that reduces the static bond due to propellant pressure between the cartridge case and the barrel chamber. The barrel assembly has a barrel with a rifled bore, and a chamber for receiving a cartridge therein. The barrel chamber having a throat portion adjacent the rifled bore, and the chamber also having a body portion for receiving the cartridge case therein. The cartridge comprising a cylindrical cartridge case, a bullet engaged within the cartridge case. The cartridge case contains a propellant producing a propellant pressure upon ignition of the propellant. A barrel sleeve configured to receive the barrel within and to positively engage the barrel. A recess is formed between the barrel and barrel sleeve, forming a propellant pressure interconnect passage. The barrel has supply ports passing from the chamber throat to the propellant pressure interconnect passage, and the release ports passing from the propellant pressure interconnect passage, and into the chamber body. Upon ignition of the propellant, the bullet is forced by propellant pressure out of the cartridge case and into the rifled bore of the barrel. The propellant pressure passes into the supply ports, into the propellant pressure interconnect passage, and into the release ports. The propellant pressure is then exerted upon the exterior of the cylindrical cartridge case. The static bond due to propellant pressure between the cartridge case and the barrel chamber is reduced and more energy is made available to cycle the firearm mechanism.

    Abstract: A unitary barrel, chamber and bolt region for a firearm is manufactured from a single piece of metal stock so as to precisely and consistently meet headspace requirements. A single piece of metal stock having a bore centerline is successively reamed based on a common datum to achieve precise headspace compliance. The unitary assembly is then profiled, again based on measurements from the datum, to provide a unitary barrel, chamber and bolt region without any form of juncture, headspace or harmonic limitations.

    Abstract: To permit ease and efficiency for the extraction of spent cartridge cases from the cartridge chamber of a firearm barrel within a wide range of temperature conditions, the internal tapered surface of the body region of a cartridge chamber is prepared by establishing circumferentially spaced longitudinal straight or curved regions of the internal surface finish to create an internal cartridge chamber geometry having gradually tapered spaced longitudinally relieved linear or spiral areas having longitudinal linear or spiral lands between each of the relieved areas. The circumferentially spaced lands develop controlled impedance to rearward cartridge case movement on cartridge firing to effectively protect the bolt and extractor mechanisms of the firearm against early failure.
