摘要: A frame enhancer may include a body, a first extension extending from the body and including a first notch, a second extension extending from the body, and a third extension extending from the body and including a second notch. The first extension and the second extension may define a first slot. The second extension and the third extension define a second slot. The first slot may be configured to receive a first side of a support arm, and the second slot may be configured to receive a second side of the support arm. The first notch may be configured to lock the first side of the support arm in the first slot, and the second notch may be configured to lock the second side of the support arm in the second slot. At least a portion of the first and third extensions may be configured to support a flange.

The photovoltaic tile includes color steel tiles, adjacent color steel tiles are fixedly connected to each other, the color steel tiles each include a male rib, a female rib, and a folding portion, the male rib and the female rib are respectively arranged at two opposite ends of the color steel tile along a width direction, the folding portion is arranged between the male rib and the female rib, and the female rib is fixedly connected to the male rib of an adjacent color steel tile to form a connecting end; fixing devices mounted on the folding portions; and photovoltaic modules each having two ends respectively connected to the fixing devices of adjacent folding portions. When the photovoltaic module is mounted on the color steel tile, the connecting end supports the photovoltaic module.

摘要: A photovoltaic (PV) module framing and coupling system enables the attachment of PV modules to a roof or other mounting surface without requiring the use of separate structural support members which attach directly to and span between multiple PV modules in a formed PV array. The apparatus provides a parallel coupling for securely interlocking the outside surfaces of parallel frame members together in a side to side arrangement to form an array with improved structural load distribution. The coupling may attach to a slot in the frame at substantially any position along the length of the frame thereby enabling the interconnection of adjacent PV modules along both an x and y axis. The apparatus may further provide a rotating portion and locking portion, mounting brackets for direct connection to a mounting surface, grounding teeth, and a twist-lock engagement means for interlocking and aligning PV modules in the array.

摘要: A mounting system and techniques for securing solar panels to a fixed structure including a plurality of mounting brackets and tracks and a plurality of mounting feet that connect to the tracks and anchor to the fixed structure. Each mounting bracket has a means to interconnect and interlock with the mounting brackets on adjacent solar modules. In addition, the mounting feet have a quick release mechanism to connect and disconnect from the track. The mounting feet are appropriately selected for the given fixed structure or roof type. The solar module system, in accordance with certain embodiments, has toggle anchors to reliably mount into sheathing plywood or OSB material. The solar module system, in accordance with certain embodiments, also describes an electrical conduction and coupling system for solar modules that integrates electrical coupling with mechanical coupling at the point of mechanical attachment.

摘要: A non-drive dynamic stabilizer includes a damper and an actuator. The dynamic stabilizer provides multiple states of support to a solar tracker structure. These states may include 1) flexible movement and/or damping during normal operation (i.e. tracking) and/or 2) rigid or locked, whereby the dynamic stabilizer acts as a restraint. The dynamic stabilizer is actuated by a control system according to the real-time demands on the structure. Sensors to provide input to the control system may include wind speed sensors, wind direction sensors, snow sensors, vibration sensors and/or displacement sensors.

摘要: A bracket for coupling frames of solar panels includes a spacer for positioning between frames. An elongated body passes through a slot in the spacer and is positionable within channels formed in the frames. A clamp secures to the spacer and is biased toward the slot and elongated body, such as by means of a spring. The clamp defines seats for receiving portions of the frames of the solar panels. Sloped portions on end portions of the clamp facilitate insertion of the frames between the elongated body and the clamp. Another type of bracket includes a spacer and clamp, the spacer having protuberances for insertion into channels in the frames. A flange extends from the spacer such that it extends between the frames when the protuberances are positioned within the channels. An L-foot or other fixture may secure to the flange to secure the solar panels to a structure.

This allows an installation of surface modules in a simple and flexible way using only a single type of holding device.
