摘要: A dehumidifying air handling unit for an HVACR system includes a housing, a desiccant wheel, and a cooling heat exchanger. A main airflow path extending through the housing from an air inlet to and air discharged outlet of the housing. The desiccant wheel includes a first end and a second end that are each disposed in the main airflow path and a metal organic framework desiccant that is moved between the first end and the second end. A desiccant wheel includes a metal organic framework desiccant disposed on a surface of the desiccant wheel. Rotation of the desiccant wheel moves a position of the surface between a first end and a second end of the desiccant wheel. The metal organic framework desiccant has an majority absorption-desorption operating band of 25% relative humidity or less.

摘要: Methods, systems and devices for managing humidity within an HVAC system including a nanostructured desiccant porous material configured to adsorb water from an inlet stream at a first air pressure and to release water from that material when subjected to a second air pressure when the second air pressure is lower than the first air pressure is located within a particular location so as to allow for the passage of wet air over the materials and allow adsorption of the water on to the material. When coupled with a vacuum pump water can be collected and released from the materials and the system, regenerating the material for future use and removing water from a stream at a significantly lower cost than existing processes.

摘要: A cooling systems utilizes an organic ionic salt composition for dehumidification of an airflow. The organic ionic salt composition absorbs moisture from an inlet airflow to produce an outlet airflow with a reduce moisture from that of the inlet airflow. The organic ionic salt composition may be regenerated, wherein the absorbed moisture is expelled by heating with a heating device. The heating device may be an electrochemical heating device, such as a fuel cell, an electrochemical metal hydride heating device, an electrochemical heat pump or compressor, or a condenser of a refrigerant cycle, which may utilize an electrochemical pump or compressor. The efficiency of the cooling system may be increased by utilization of the waste heat the cooling system. The organic ionic salt composition may circulate back and forth or in a loop between a conditioner, where it absorbs moisture, to a regenerator, where moisture is desorbed by heating.

The conditioning module(s) may be configured to receive at least one of concentrated desiccant or diluted desiccant in order to vary temperature or concentration of the desiccant circulating through the desiccant circuit.

摘要: A dehumidifier includes: a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, a flow path switch that switches a refrigerant flow path, a first heat exchanger, a pressure-reducing device and a second heat exchanger are connected by piping; a moisture adsorption member that is arranged between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger; a fan configured to cause air to flow in order of the first heat exchanger, the moisture adsorption member and the second heat exchanger; a controller configured to control the flow path switch; a storage unit configured to store the operation time map; and a temperature and humidity detection unit configured to detect temperature and humidity in a space to be dehumidified. The controller controls the flow path switch that switches a first operation mode to adsorb moisture by the moisture adsorption member and a second operation mode to desorb moisture adsorbed by the moisture adsorption member. Moreover, the controller acquires a first time and a second time corresponding to the temperature and the humidity detected by the temperature and the humidity detection unit from the operation time map, and controls the flow path switch in accordance with the first time and the second time that were acquired.
