摘要: A rotating evaporator includes a chamber, and a rotor assembly disposed in the chamber, and including distillation elements that each contain an internal cavity, condensation surfaces that face the internal cavity, and evaporation surfaces that face away from the internal cavity, and a vapor manifold extending through the distillation elements and configured to provide a vapor to the internal cavities. The evaporator also includes wiper assemblies configured to form a liquid film on the evaporation surfaces, condensate scoops located in the respective inner cavities of the distillation elements and configured to collect a condensate from the condensation surfaces, a condensate manifold extending through the vapor manifold and configured to receive the condensate from the condensate scoops, and a drive assembly configured to rotate the rotor assembly and including a drive shaft and drive rollers disposed on the drive shaft and contacting outer circumferential contact surfaces of the distillation elements.

摘要: An apparatus and system for producing fresh water from moisture-laden air. The apparatus has a frame supporting a plurality of condensation panels that each have a panel body defining a pair of condensation surfaces that will contact the moisture-laden air. A panel support mechanism supports each of the condensation panels in spaced apart relation to each other so each condensation surface contacts moisture-laden air. A flow channel inside the panel body defines a flow path for a cooling fluid that cools the condensation surfaces so the moisture-laden air will produce condensate thereon that collects as fresh water. The system includes a plurality of apparatuses, a chilling mechanism to cool the cooled fluid, inlet and discharge lines connecting the chilling mechanism and apparatuses, pumps to pressurize the cooled fluid, fans to move the moisture-laden air and water collecting surfaces to collect the fresh water.

摘要: Systems for atmospheric water generation are disclosed. An illustrative system may comprise an atmospheric water generator, and a wireless communications device communicatively coupled to the atmospheric water generator. The wireless communications device may be configured to receive and display status information associated with the atmospheric water generator, and to provide operating instructions to the atmospheric water generator. The wireless communications device may be further configured to display an outside temperature, an outdoor humidity, a water level, an indoor temperature, an indoor humidity, and a dew point. The wireless communications device may be further configured to receive control instructions, and wherein the wireless communications device is further configured to communicate the control instructions to the atmospheric water generator.
