摘要: A carbon processing system comprises an air mover and a multi-stage reactor. The multi-stage reactor processes ambient air and generates carbon dioxide and generates exhausted gas released to ambient air. In operation, air contacts the base solution via the air mover. The air reacts with the base solution thereby generating a base solution having carbon dioxide and generating exhaust (absorption reaction). Next, the exhaust is released from the reactor. Next, heat is applied to the base solution having carbon dioxide thereby generating carbon dioxide and generating a base solution without carbon dioxide (desorption reaction). The base solution without carbon dioxide generated after applying heat is reusable in processing new air. The absorption reaction and desorption reaction are reversible reactions resulting in regeneration of the base solution into its form prior to contact with the air yielding high scalability and less processing volume as required by many conventional carbon processing techniques.

摘要: Systems and methods for integrating a building management system communicatively coupled to a security subsystem via a communication network, in which the building management system determines occupancy data, with a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning subsystem that includes a scrubber unit communicatively coupled to the building management system via the communication network. The scrubber unit includes a contaminant filter that sorbs air contaminants from a surrounding environment when an elevated pressure differential is introduced across the contaminant filter; an inlet sensor that determines sensor data indicative of contaminant level present in return air received by the scrubber unit from an internal portion of the building; and scrubber control circuitry that selectively instructs the scrubber unit to operate in one of multiple regeneration modes based at least in part on the occupancy data and the sensor data to facilitate improving filtering efficiency provided by the contaminant filter during subsequent operation.

摘要: An efficient low-energy carbon dioxide removal system comprises an automated air mover equipped with sensing devices to measure flow rate, volume, level, pressure, temperature and concentration. Packing materials and air-liquid distributors are used in a multi-stage catalytic reactor. The multi-stage catalytic reactor processes ambient air and generates pure carbon dioxide gas and generates exhausted gas released to ambient air. In operation, air contacts the base solution in the presence of a catalyst via the air mover, distributor, and packing materials. The air reacts with the base solution thereby generating a base solution having carbon dioxide and generating exhaust (absorption reaction). Next, the exhaust is released from the reactor. Next, a catalyst is added, heat is applied to the base solution having carbon dioxide thereby generating carbon dioxide and generating a base solution without carbon dioxide (desorption reaction).

摘要: A system and a method for continuously separating carbon dioxide from gas mixtures, utilizing a continuous loop of porous monoliths which support a sorbent within its pores. Continuously exposing a portion of the continuous loop of monoliths to a flow of gas mixture containing a minor proportion of carbon dioxide, to adsorb carbon dioxide from the flow. The loop passes through a sealed regeneration and carbon dioxide capture assembly located astride a portion of the loop, and which is capable of sealingly containing a monolith in relative movement through the assembly. The assembly chamber comprises a plurality of separately sealed zones, including at least one zone for purging oxygen from the monoliths, -a subsequent zone for heating the monolith to release the adsorbed carbon dioxide, and another cooling zone for cooling the monolith prior to reentering the adsorption portion of the loop where it is exposed to oxygen.

摘要: Disclosed are a transformer system and a control method of an air-drying device thereof. The air-drying device has a desiccant material stored therein and is connected to a transformer for removing water from an airflow entering the transformer. The control method includes the following steps. The first step is detecting a weight of the desiccant material. The next step is determining whether the weight of the desiccant material reaches a first predetermined weight. The next step is determining whether the transformer is in an air inflow state or an air outflow state, and is conducted when the weight of the desiccant material reaches a first predetermined weight. The last step is heating the desiccant material, and is conducted when the transformer is the air outflow state. Therefore, the lifetime of the transformer can be remarkably extended.
