    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for providing wireless connectivity to a system, e.g., an HVAC system, having at least one non-communicating unit, e.g., an outdoor unit such as an HVAC unit and/or an indoor unit such as an air handler or a furnace. The system may include a wireless connectivity device that may be mechanically and operatively coupled to or otherwise integrated with the non-communicating unit, to thereby provide communication capabilities to the non-communicating unit. Accordingly, via the wireless connectivity device, the non-communicating unit may communicate information with additional components of the system including, e.g., a communicating unit, a thermostat, and/or cloud storage for providing access to third parties.

    摘要: A smartphone-operated HVAC airflow anemometer device and system includes an anemometer device having an impeller and a photo interrupter circuit. The circuit generates an output signal that is proportional to the rotation speed of the impeller, and transmits the same via a headphone jack to a smartphone device running an airflow balancing application. The airflow balancing application receives airflow data from the anemometer and provides power to the same. The application can apply one or more algorithms to the received airflow data to generate airflow information which can be stored or transmitted by the smartphone device.

The environmental control device adjusts an environmental factor value of a predetermined area. The sensor senses an activity value of a user. The communication apparatus sends the activity value and an identifier corresponding to the user. The system-end subsystem includes a communication element, a comfort database and a computing apparatus. The communication element receives the identifier and the activity value. The comfort database includes a basic data table having a physiological value and a preference data table having a control parameter. The computing apparatus looks up the basic data table for the physiological value and looks up the preference data table for a corresponding control parameter. The computing apparatus controls the environmental control device to adjust the environmental factor value.
