    摘要: A method, device, and nozzle for dispensing cooled lubricant is provided. Lubricant is supplied to the nozzle through an inner lubricant tube. Cooled compressed gas is also supplied to the nozzle through a conduit which surrounds the inner lubricant tube. Cooled compressed gas from the conduit is introduced into a nozzle gas bore in the nozzle and lubricant is introduced into a nozzle lubricant bore in the nozzle. The cooled compressed gas and the lubricant are mixed at a junction between these bores, such that the lubricant is siphoned into the junction by the cooled compressed gas. The mixture of cooled compressed gas and lubricant are then dispensed from an aperture in the nozzle, preferably as a fine atomized mist of cooled lubricant.

    摘要: In one exemplary embodiment, a gas turbine engine includes a fan, a speed reduction device driving the fan, and a lubrication system for lubricating components across a rotation gap. The lubrication system includes a lubricant input. A stationary first bearing receives lubricant from the lubricant input and has a first race in which lubricant flows. A second bearing for rotation is within the first bearing. The second bearing has a first opening in registration with said first race such that lubricant may flow from the first race through the first opening into a first conduit. The first bearing also has a second race into which lubricant flows. The second bearing has a second opening in registration with the second race such that lubricant may flow from the second race through the second opening into a second conduit. The first and second conduits deliver lubricant to distinct locations.

Due to this, uneven wear and roughness is kept from occurring at the rolling roll in the axial direction of the rolling roll.

    摘要: A method of forming a lubricating coating on a razor blade that includes: providing a razor blade having a body and a cutting edge tapering from the body; providing a tank of a colloidal dispersion of a polymer having less than 2% in weight of polymer particles; providing a spray gun in fluid communication with the tank, the gun having an end directed to a blade-spraying region; placing the razor blade at a predetermined temperature (T) in the blade-spraying region; flowing the colloidal dispersion from the tank to the end of the spray gun, and in a direction to the razor blade; controlling a first gas stream to nebulise the colloidal dispersion into a mist in a dispersion region located between the end of the spray gun and the razor blade; independently controlling a second gas stream to control the mist properties; transporting the mist from the dispersion region to the razor blade placed in the blade-spraying region, the razor blade being at the predetermined temperature (T) so that water evaporates from the mist, and sintering the polymer.

    摘要: A nozzle for a mist lubricator system has an emitter head located in a tubular housing. The emitter head has tapered passageways terminating at an end from which lubricant drops are directed to a target to be lubricated. The emitter head can be incorporated in lubricator systems of various types, including those utilizing a cycling feed metering system. A nozzle constructed in accordance with the present invention can be used in reduced airflow systems and exhibits substantially lessened lubricant loss during low and no airflow periods.

    摘要: A lubricant dispensing system is provided. The dispensing system includes a lubricant supply, a lubricant dispensing nozzle and a control panel. The dispensing nozzle includes a nozzle body with a fluid passageway therein which is in fluid communication with the lubricant supply, an electrode assembly for electrostatically charging lubricant in the fluid passageway and at least one discharge orifice through which electrostatically charged lubricant can be discharged. The discharge orifice is defined by at least one spray needle having a first end in fluid communication with the fluid passageway and a second end that extends outward of the nozzle body. The control panel directs the flow of lubricant from the lubricant supply to the lubricant dispensing nozzle and controls the electric power supplied to the electrode assembly.
