摘要: A control device for a vehicle is provided, which vehicle includes a driving source, and an automatic transmission having a torque converter provided downstream of the driving source in a power transmission path and having a lockup clutch, and an engaging element provided downstream of the torque converter in the power transmission path. The device includes a control unit which engages the engaging element in a state where the lockup clutch is engaged if an accelerator opening becomes not smaller than a predetermined opening during neutral running control in which the automatic transmission is brought into a power shut-off state during running of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle includes an engine as a drive source and a continuously variable transmission. The continuously variable transmission includes a torque converter having a lockup clutch. When simultaneous execution of an upshift of the continuously variable transmission and a lockup engagement of the lockup clutch is required in accordance with an accelerator depression operation, the LU engagement control of the lockup clutch is started in accordance with an LU engagement request. On the other hand, the upshift control uses the continuously variable transmission to place the starting of the control with respect to the upshift request on standby and cancels the standby when the LU engagement control of the lockup clutch enters a lockup engagement completion region and starts the upshift control (delayed control).

摘要: A method of controlling an automated manual transmission system having a transmission and a shifter is provided. The shifter includes a Drive Mode, a Low Mode and at least one of a Manual Mode and a Hold Mold. The Drive Mode automatically selects a default gear of the transmission and automatically performs all upshifts and downshifts. The Manual Mode permits an operator to manually select an upshift and a downshift of the transmission. The Hold Mode permits an operator to maintain a current operating gear. Control determines whether the shifter is in one of the Manual Mode and the Hold Mode. Control determines whether a vehicle operating condition is outside of a predetermined threshold. Control operates the transmission in Drive Mode based on the vehicle operating condition being outside of the predetermined threshold irrespective of the shifter being in one of the Low Mode, Manual Mode or Hold Modes.

摘要: A jump shift of an automatic transmission with multiple shift speeds such as, e.g., ten forward speeds involves operation of many engagement elements. The shifting operation for the jump shift is therefore complicated, making it difficult for the automatic transmission to respond quickly. After shifting to the seventh speed as a direct coupling speed is completed by engaging three clutches C1, C3, C4, the remaining other clutch C2 is also engaged at the seventh speed. In the case of a jump shift, e.g., a shift from the seventh speed to the fifth speed, shifting to the fifth speed is completed by disengaging the clutch C1 and performing control to disengage the clutch C3 and to engage a brake B1 with the remaining other clutch C2 kept in the engaged state. This facilitates the shifting operation from the direct coupling speed and allows the automatic transmission to respond quickly.

摘要: An automatic transmission is provided with a frictional engagement member that is operated by hydraulic pressure for shifting the automatic transmission, and includes an air vent opening. An automatic transmission controller includes a pressure regulator and a control section. The pressure regulator regulates the hydraulic pressure in response to a hydraulic pressure control signal. The control section performs an air vent operation of venting air from the frictional engagement member through the air vent opening. The air vent operation includes: a preliminary operation of setting the hydraulic pressure control signal to a preliminary pulse indicative of a preliminary value of pressure, wherein the preliminary value is lower than a normal value of pressure; and a normal operation of setting the hydraulic pressure control signal to a normal pulse indicative of the normal value, wherein the normal pulse follows the preliminary pulse.

摘要: A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle includes a coast stop control section (60) which stops a fuel supply to an engine (E) when a vehicle speed is equal to or lower than a predetermined vehicle speed, an accelerator pedal is not depressed, a brake pedal is depressed, and a select position of a continuously variable transmission (1) is in a traveling position; and a low return control section (50) for retuning a transmission ratio of the continuously variable transmission (1) to a low side after the engine (E) is restarted in a case where the transmission gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission (1) is a midway ratio which is higher than a predetermined transmission gear ratio, when detecting that the coast stop control section (60) is operated and the vehicle is stopped.
