The present invention relates to a pressure roller bearing for a pallet car of a pelletizing machine. The bearing includes an external annular race having: an exterior surface for reversible mating engagement with a tooth gap of a wheel, a pair of sidewalls defining ends of the bearing, wherein the radial diameter of the exterior surface at a center portion in the axial direction is greater than the radial diameter of the exterior surface at the ends of the bearing, and an interior annular groove; an internal annular race defining a hole therethrough for receiving an axle, and having an exterior annular groove; and a plurality of rolling cylindrical members located in an interior space defined by the interior annular groove and the exterior annular groove when the internal annular race is received by the external annular race.

A pin for guiding a gear has a substantially cylindrical outer surface section, wherein the outer surface section comprises a substantially cylindrical rolling surface section, which is aligned and formed so as to make possible the guiding of the gear. The outer surface section further has a groove, which is formed so as to accommodate a retaining ring, wherein the groove is disposed with respect to the rolling surface section so as to make possible a guiding, directly or indirectly via the retaining ring, of a rolling-element assembly along the axial direction of the pin. In this way it is possible to provide a guiding of a gear wherein a small tolerance chain is implemented with respect to the axial position.

Disclosed is an enclosed needle bearing hinge mechanism having externally rotatable race surfaces, internal needle bearings, an internal pathway for introducing grease into the assembly for improved lubrication, reduced wear and a construction adapted to support large door or latch loads. The assembly comprises a housing having at least one needle bearing in contact with an outer rotating race, stationary or counter-rotating interior races, a central pin shaft and an internal pathway for lubrication to be communicated from a topmost grease fitting to the contact interface between the needle bearing and outer rotating race. One or plurality of needle bearing assemblies and counter-rotating outer races may be present within the assembly, each with an independent grease pathway branch. The pathway comprises a hollow internal conduit that allows lubricant to contact each needle bearing in the assembly, reducing friction and improving longevity of the hinge bearing assembly.

An outer needle bearing race and thrust washer assembly provides improved lubrication for a pinion gear of a planetary gear assembly. The bearing race and thrust washer assembly are used in pairs with the bearing races disposed within the planet or pinion gear and the thrust washers disposed adjacent the end faces of the planet or pinion gear. Each assembly includes a cylindrical bearing portion having a crowned, i.e., convex, inner surface which is secured at one end to a thrust washer. The outside face of the washer includes a plurality of shallow radial channels or grooves. A plurality of oil passageways extend from the grooved surface of the washer to its opposite surface inside the cylindrical bearing portion.

Across shaft has four trunnions externally provided with roller bearings in a plurality of rows. Each of the trunnions is formed with a recess at its distal end face. A bottom region of the recess is formed in a spherical shape. An inner diameter of an opening region of the recess except the bottom region in a spherical shape is set to be gradually larger toward an opening end edge of the recess. A depth of the recess from the opening end edge to the deepest point is set to be 30 to 70% of the total length of the rollers in an axial direction. By providing this recess is a shape of a punch bowl, rigidity of each of the trunnions of the cross shaft can be reduced, while securing sufficient strength of the trunnion.

A double-split cage includes a strip-shaped metallic sheet curved into a semi-cylindrical shape and having several pockets for accommodating a single row of rollers arranged in the circumferential direction. The strip-shaped metallic sheet has two arch portions separately arranged in the axial direction and includes pillar portions arranged at several positions of both arch portions in the circumferential direction. Both arch portions have protrusions protruding from the pillar portions at both end portions in the circumferential direction, and a forward end portion of each protrusion is chamfered at a corner outside in the axial direction. Length of the chamfered portion in the circumferential direction is larger than the protruding length of each protrusion.
