摘要: A work machine includes an engine, a transmission connected to the engine to change a transmission gear ratio continuously, a travel device connected to the transmission to cause the work machine to travel, a sensor arranged and configured to detect an acceleration of the work machine, and a controller. The controller selectively execute a first mode and a second mode that limits a target tractive force of the machine in comparison to the first mode. The controller weakens limitation of the target tractive force and determines the target tractive force when the acceleration of the machine in the second mode is less than a predetermined acceleration threshold. The controller determines a target transmission gear ratio in accordance with the target tractive force. The controller controls the transmission based on the target transmission gear ratio.

摘要: Engine controllers and control schemes that facilitate skip fire engine operation in conjunction with use power take-off devices are described. In one aspect, a skip fire mode is exited when the power take-off unit is engaged and the current torque request exceeds a torque threshold. In some embodiments, the exit is delayed when the temperature of an after treatment system is below a designated temperature threshold. In another aspect, the engine transitions to the skip fire mode when the power take-off unit disengages. In some embodiments, exiting is conditioned on the current torque request being less than a torque threshold. In some embodiments, the transition is made immediately, whereas in others the transition only occurs when the power take-off unit is not reengaged for a period of time or is further conditioned on determining that the power take-off unit is likely to remain disengaged for the period of time.

摘要: A prime mover control device of a work vehicle equipped with a torque converter includes: a speed ratio calculation unit that calculates a speed ratio of the torque converter; and a rotational speed limit unit that, when a speed ratio falls within a preset speed ratio range, limits a maximum rotational speed of the prime mover to be lower as compared with a maximum rotational speed set when a speed ratio falls without the preset speed ratio range. When a state in which the speed ratio calculated by the speed ratio calculation unit falls within the preset speed ratio range is maintained for a predetermined time period, the rotational speed limit unit changes a maximum rotational speed of the prime mover to a higher maximum rotational speed than the limited maximum rotational speed limited to be lower by the rotational speed limit unit.

The method includes detecting a driver torque request signal for increased torque output during active fuel management reactivation, modifying a torque request signal ramp rate based on excess air pressure available within an engine manifold during active fuel management, performing torque shaping on the driver torque request signal using the modified torque request signal ramp rate to obtain a shaped driver torque request signal, modifying manifold model torque estimation based on the excess air pressure available within the engine manifold during active fuel management reactivation, and modifying the smoothed driver torque request signal based on the modified manifold model to increase torque output responsiveness proportional to the driver torque request signal when exiting active fuel management.

摘要: A vehicle control system to operate a vehicle autonomously with improved energy efficiency and ride quality is provided. A controller is configured to set a limit value of an operating point of an engine to reduce noises and vibrations. The operating point of the engine is restricted by the limit value within an acceptable region where an engine speed is higher than the limit value but an engine torque is lower than the limit value. The limit value is set to a first limit value when the vehicle is operated autonomously while carrying the passenger, and to a second limit value to expand the acceptable region when the vehicle is operated autonomously without carrying the passenger.

摘要: There is provided a vehicle engine control system that includes engine and transmission control functions and enables evacuation driving to be readily performed. A monitoring control circuit unit and an error processing circuit unit monitors controlling operation of a main control circuit unit; when the occurrence frequency of valve-opening control abnormality becomes larger than threshold value, a first storage circuit stores the occurrence frequency, and driving of an intake valve control motor is stopped to set to fixed opening degree; when transmission-control abnormality is occurs, power supply to automatic transmission is stopped to set to the third speed fixation ratio; when an abnormality occurs, evacuation driving is implemented using fixed opening degree and automatic transmission ratio, variable rotation speed and fixed transmission ratio, or fixed opening degree and fixed transmission ratio. When valve-opening control abnormality or transmission-control abnormality occurs, fuel injection control is prevented from being inappropriately stopped.

摘要: A variety of methods and arrangements are described for controlling transitions between firing fractions during skip fire and potentially variable displacement operation of an engine. In general, actuator first transition strategies are described in which an actuator position (e.g., cam phase, TCC slip, etc.) is changed to, or close to a target position before i corresponding firing fraction change is implemented. When the actuator change associated with a desired firing fraction change is relatively large, the firing fraction change is divided into a series of two or more firing fraction change steps. A number of intermediate target selection schemes are described as well.
