    摘要: In order to improve a screw compressor comprising a screw compressor housing having a screw rotor housing, screw rotor bores arranged in the screw rotor housing, screw rotors arranged in the screw rotor bores and mounted in the screw rotor housing for rotation about rotational axes, a drive for the screw rotors, and a slider which is guided for displacement in a slider receptacle in the screw rotor housing and is, in areas, in adjacent relation to the screw rotors with end faces, for adjusting a volume ratio of the screw compressor and which, starting from an insertion space of the slider receptacle, extends in a direction towards the high-pressure outlet in a guide trough of the slider receptacle that is open towards the screw rotor bores and which is capable of being positioned in a first position and a second position, wherein the volume ratio of the screw compressor is greater in one of the positions than in the other of the positions, in such a manner that it requires as small an installation space as possible for actuation of the slider, it is proposed that the slider be connected to a first cylinder element which is at least partially arranged in the insertion space and cooperates with a second cylinder element which is at least partially arranged in the insertion space and that the cylinder elements be arranged following the slider in the displacement direction thereof on a side of the slider that is opposite the high-pressure outlet.

    摘要: A rotary vane motor uses a gear train arrangement for controlling the position of the vanes as well as the compression ratio of the motor. The motor includes a first pair of vanes namely a leading and trailing vane defining a working chamber therebetween and an opposed second pair of vanes namely a leading and trailing vane defining therebetween a second working chamber. Preferably the motor uses a pair of second order elliptical gears for controlling movement of the vanes to define an intake stage, a compression stage, an expansion stage, and an exhaust stage. In a preferred structure of the motor both the intake port and the exhaust port are movable to change or alter the intake stage and the exhaust stage respectively.

As a result, the leakage between the rotors can be reduced, therefore the compression ratio can be improved. In addition, over compression and under compression can be avoided in operation.
