摘要: A vehicle roof assembly comprises an electronic control circuitry and at least one sensor operatively coupled to the electronic control circuitry. An output of the sensor exhibits hysteresis. A method of operating the vehicle roof assembly comprises performing a sensor power-down sequence. The sensor power-down sequence of steps comprises switching off the sensor; switching on the sensor; detecting the output of the sensor; storing the output of the sensor in a memory; and switching off the sensor. The method prevents inadvertent position drift due to hysteresis effects during a power toggle.

摘要: An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a panel for opening and closing an opening in the fixed roof of the vehicle by means of at least one lever assembly connected to the panel. A stationary frame is fitted in the opening of the fixed roof. A drive motor is placed in the vicinity of the rear edge of the opening and in the vicinity of a longitudinal center line of the opening. The drive motor comprises an output shaft having a center axis which is perpendicular to a center axis of a rotor shaft of the drive motor. The drive motor is connected to a motor support which is attached to the frame by means of vibration dampers. The motor support supports a separate gearbox which is capable of transferring the driving torque from the drive motor to the at least one lever assembly connected to the panel.

摘要: A vehicle is provided that includes a cabin interior, a seat configured to hold a passenger, a window having a movable panel actuatable between open and closed positions, and an actuator to power the window between the open and closed positions. The vehicle also includes an imaging device located in the cabin interior and oriented to capture images of a passenger seated on the seat and at least a portion of the movable panel of the window, and a controller processing the images to determine one or more characteristics of a face of the passenger. The controller further processes the images to monitor a position of the movable panel.

摘要: Proximity sensors, e.g., Bluetooth® sensors, are installed in a vehicle. Each sensor determines estimates approximate distance from itself to a user mobile device. In response to the distance increasing above a predetermined distance departure limit, as the sensors communicate to a vehicle control system (VCS) through Bluetooth® or similar links, the VCS causes predetermined departure actions to be performed, such as locking the doors, turning off headlights, activating the vehicle's security system, and/or others. In response to the distance decreasing below a predetermined distance arrival limit, as the sensors communicate to the VCS through the link(s), the VCS causes predetermined arrival actions to be performed, such as unlocking the doors, flashing the headlights, beeping the horn, deactivating the security system, and/or others. Hysteresis may be applied to the decisions whether to perform the departure/arrival actions.

摘要: The current invention is a set of improved hinges and setup to attach a panel to the hardtop roof of a vehicle. A device that can lock the removable roof or hardtop in an open position. In the preferred embodiment the hinges are comprised of two or more separate hinges with each hinge connected to each panel by one or more flaps. The flaps may be aligned using an alignment bracket. After opening the panels, the panels are folded back on the hinges and can be locked to the roof of the vehicles with one or more locks located on the sides of the roof. The current invention is more flexible and has a better alignment system the back panel being larger than the front panel. The current system has a double hinged system which is an improvement.

摘要: Removable roofing system comprising a motor inserted inside a drum (2), a cord, a compensation device (4), two rigging rails (5a, 5b), at least one guide arch (6a) and removable roofing, the at least one guide arch (6a) being connected to the cord and to the removable roofing, and being designed so that each of its ends slides in a rigging rail (5a, 5b), the cord passing along each rigging rail (5a, 5b) and through the compensation device (4) and being connected at its two ends to the drum (2) so that the rotating of the drum (2) by the motor causes the cord to move in a direction dependent on the direction of rotation of the drum (2), deploying or retracting the removable roofing by moving the at least one guide arch (6a), each rigging rail (5a, 5b) being equipped with at least one end pulley (21a, 21b) and with at least two corner-block deflecting pulleys (20a, 20b, 23a, 23b) which are designed to guide the cord from the compensation device towards the at least one end pulley (21a, 21b), and the compensation device (4) is designed to automatically compensate for variations in cord tension.

摘要: A method of using detection devices for hazard detection when activating a physical closure member of an automobile generates a combined output signal from a first-detection device having a first-operational range and a second-detection device having a second-operational range. The combined output signal is generated for activity detected within a full-operational range, wherein the full-operational range is a mathematical union of the first-operational range and the second-operational range. A cumulative safety threshold is determined for the physical closure member using processing circuitry. Hazard-related data within the combined output signal is analyzed using processing circuitry. If the hazard-related data exceeds the cumulative safety threshold, a current state of the physical closure member is changed. If the hazard-related data does not exceed the cumulative safety threshold, a current state of the physical closure member is maintained.

摘要: A controller for controlling a motor of a closure and/or blind in a vehicle body is configured to determine a reference state signal comprising speed and/or current measurements, repeatedly estimate motor model parameters of the motor, determine an estimated state signal based on an input signal comprising measurements or estimates of a voltage, the estimated motor model parameters, the reference state signal and an error signal, the error signal representing a difference between the reference state signal and the estimated state signal, determine a disturbance observer signal from the error signal, compute a first derivative of the disturbance observer signal at a present moment, and reverse the motor upon determining that the first derivative of the disturbance observer signal exceeds a threshold.
