Abstract: A locking mechanism for luggage compartment doors of vehicles for operating a plurality of connection rods associated with auxiliary drivers includes a main body; a rotary driver arranged to drive, in use, the plurality of connection rods; a handle body associated with a transmission element rigidly joined to the handle body to transmit displacement of the handle body to the rotary driver; and a longitudinal lock guide arranged to displace to selectively enable a retaining means associated with a guiding member bear against the transmission element's tip portion to drive the rotary driver. The locking mechanism includes a remote actuation means which is arranged to move a portion of the rotary driver for a rotational movement of the rotary driver to operate the plurality of connection rods.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a locking mechanism for a container and a container. The locking mechanism comprises a lock rod constructed such that it can rotate between a first opening position and a first locking position; a locking member, one end of which is fixedly connected to the lock rod, and the other end of which can cooperate with a door of the container when the locking mechanism is mounted onto the container, the locking member can separate from the door when the lock rod rotates to the first opening position, and the locking member can lock the door when the lock rod rotates to the first locking position; a slide block capable of reciprocating movement; and a first drive linkage, one end of which is connected to the slide block, and the other end of which is fixedly connected to the lock rod, wherein the reciprocating movement of the slide block can drive the lock rod to rotate between the first opening position and the first locking position through the first drive linkage. This locking mechanism is characterized by simple operation and low costs, and has an adequate drive distance.

Abstract: A system for monitoring chain of custody of contents of a container includes a lock mechanism configured to lock at least one door of the container in a closed position, a housing enclosing at least a portion of the lock mechanism, and a lock circuit at least partially enclosed within the housing. The lock circuit includes a memory, a lock controller, a wireless module configured to receive information from at least one sensor associated with the container, the information regarding at least one property of the contents of the container, wherein the wireless module is configured to store the information in memory, wherein at least one of the wireless module or the sensor is powered wirelessly, and a lock controller configured to receive commands related to operation of the lock mechanism, to monitor the stored information to identify a change of state of the at least one sensor, and to generate chain of custody data to be transmitted to a remote location via the wireless module. The chain of custody data includes at least two of sensor data, an authentication code associated with the sensor, and/or an authentication code associated with the lock mechanism.

Abstract: A system for operating a container lock mechanism includes a housing, at least two lock members, the two lock members including a first lock member configured to engage a first portion of a container and a second lock member configured to engage a second portion of the container to mount the container lock mechanism outside of the container and lock at least one container door in a closed position. The system further includes a latching mechanism coupled to the first and second lock members, a lock circuit at least partially enclosed within the housing. The lock circuit includes a first memory, a wireless module configured to receive a wireless signal and a lock controller coupled to the first memory, the wireless module and the latching mechanism and configured to receive commands related to operation of the lock mechanism, at least a portion of the commands being part of the wireless signal, to cause the latching mechanism to resist having the first and second lock members be disengaged from the first and second portions of the container when the first and second lock members are engaged to the first and second portions of the container, thereby locking the at least one container door in response to the received commands, and a battery coupled to the lock circuit and configured to provide electrical power to at least a portion of the lock circuit.

Abstract: A lock mechanism to lock at least one door of a container in a closed position includes a housing enclosing at least a portion of the lock mechanism, and a lock circuit at least partially enclosed within the housing. The lock circuit includes a main power supply, a backup power supply, a plurality of subsystems, and a lock controller coupled to the main power supply and the backup power supply. The lock controller is configured to receive commands related to operation of the lock mechanism, determine a battery level remaining in the main power supply, determine if the remaining battery level is below a threshold level, and cause the lock circuit to enter a lower power mode upon determining that the remaining battery level is below the threshold level. When in the lower power mode, at least a portion of the subsystems of the lock circuit are not powered, the lock controller receives power from the main power supply, and the lock controller monitors an interface to detect a command to unlock the lock mechanism.

Abstract: A locking mechanism for a hinged door comprises first and second actuators having first and second bolts associated therewith, each said bolt being movable between free and locked settings. Abstract: A recreational vehicle (RV) with a central actuator that controls locking and unlocking of a plurality of access doors. Each of the access doors has a locking member that is interconnected to the central actuator. Thus, the central actuator may be configured to lock or unlock selected group of doors simultaneously. The central actuator is located inside the RV, and controlling input to the central actuator may be from a remote transmitter, or by direct manipulation of the central actuator. The locking members and the central actuator may be linked mechanically, electromagnetically, hydraulically, pneumatically, or in any number of ways. The central actuator advantageously permits an RV user to lock or unlock groups or all of the access doors simultaneously while inside the RV, or by using the remote transmitter.

Abstract: A locking-aid device is disclosed for a lock, especially for a vehicle door lock or flap lock, in which a pneumatic single-acting locking-aid drive is provided for displacing an abutment for a rotary latch out of a catch position into a locking position, in which the abutment is secured positively by means of a detent pawl. According to the invention the detent pawl can be lifted out, during the opening of the lock, independently of a movement of the locking-aid drive by means of an operative connection. This can be brought about purely mechanically or by means of a separate drive for lifting out the detent pawl during the opening of the lock, so that the abutment can always jump into its catch position immediately during or after the opening of the lock and thus also allows a successive multiple activation of the locking-aid assistance.
