摘要: A camera assembly may include a camera and one or more heat sinks configured to dissipate heat generated by the camera. The heat sinks being in thermal contact with a printed circuit board including the camera. A housing of the camera assembly may be configured to maintain the camera in a fixed position while the camera assembly is mounted on a medical device such as a dispensing cabinet. The camera in the fixed position may have a deterministic field of view that includes a first area in which interactions with the medical device and adjacent medical devices occurs or is expected to occur. The deterministic field of view of the camera may further exclude a second area where surveillance is unsuitable, prohibited, and/or unnecessary. Images captured by the camera may be analyzed to detect anomalous behavior such as diversion, medical error, hazardous behavior, and protocol noncompliance.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are described for implementing a smart security fastener. The smart security fastener includes a body configured to be installed at a property; and a head that is supported by the body. The head has circuitry that includes: a micro-processor that generates control signals; and a radio device that is coupled to the micro-processor. The radio device is operable to: i) transmit data to a property monitoring system based on the control signals, where the data indicates an installation status of the smart security fastener; and ii) receive a command from the property monitoring system that indicates authorization to uninstall the smart security fastener. The circuitry also includes a power source that powers each of the micro-processor and the radio device.

摘要: An electronic lock includes a latch assembly that includes a bolt that is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The electronic lock includes a keypad for receiving a keypad input event. The electronic lock includes a processing unit being configured to control the movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position responsive to receiving a valid keypad input event. The processing unit is configured to capture the keypad input event. Based at least in part on a characteristic of the keypad input event, the processing unit indicates if a tampering event exists. The characteristic includes at least one of an input location on the keypad, an input duration on the keypad, and an input timestamp.

摘要: A smoke detector includes a tamper indicator that can prevent a cover from at least partially covering a battery location and/or mounting of a detector body to a detector mount if a battery is not located at the battery location of the detector body. The detector mount and/or cover can engage with the detector body by relative rotation about an engagement axis, and the tamper indicator can pivot about a pivot axis that is parallel to the engagement axis and/or move along a linear path. The tamper indicator can prevent engagement of a portion of the detector mount, such as an intermediate component between the detector body and a base of the detector mount, with the detector body. The intermediate component can at least partially cover the battery location when engaged with the detector body. The base of the detector mount can engage with the detector body via the intermediate component.

摘要: A door lock mechanism is disclosed that includes door lock end alarm features. The mechanism includes a controller and a sensor useful to detect motions that are representative of attempted access through a door to which the door lock mechanism is attached. The controller can set an alarm condition if a measured motion, such as a measured acceleration, meet and/or exceeds a threshold. If an appropriate access control credential is provided through a user device then the alarm condition may not be set by the controller. The door lock mechanism can be coupled to a remote station via a communications link if needed, such as a radio frequency link. The remote station can additionally be in communication with the door lock mechanism via a network. The remote station can be used to send and receive messages regarding door lock mechanism status, configuration, etc.

摘要: A lock monitoring device (10) for monitoring sensors associated with one or more locks and reporting any changes thereto is provided. The device (10) includes a housing (12) that is securable to or adjacent a lock. The housing (12) includes a plurality of ports (14) for a wired connection between the device (10) and the sensors. Each port (14) is connected to a dock (16) in which is received a monitoring module (22). The monitoring module (22) includes a processing module (28) configured to encode a monitor signal received from one or more of the sensors and a communications module (24) capable of communicating with a remote location (26) to send the monitor signal thereto. In an embodiment communication between the communications module (24) and the remote location (26) is encrypted. In an embodiment the monitoring module (22) is configured to push information to the remote location (26).
