摘要: A structural stud post assembly comprising a center receiver section having opposing receiver channels formed by side walls and angled flanges, and a pair of raceway inserts also defining a raceway channel for accepting wiring and equipment to be disposed in the raceway. The raceways can be installed in the receiver channels to accept and accommodate wiring and equipment. The center receiver comprises a thermal break at about a midpoint to prevent there from being a metal -to-metal thermally conductive pathway through the stud. The structural stud post may be used in the construction of modular building systems.

摘要: A frame supported, foam composite panel with a cladding backed by polyurethane foam bonding the cladding to the frame. The panel has a cantilevered extension projecting beyond the frame to enable the panel to overlap the outside edge of a column, beam, floor or other structure the panel is attached to. The cantilevered section may have reinforcing ribs embedded in the foam and may have a sealing material between the cantilever and the structure it overlays.

摘要: Prefabricated wall assemblies for the construction of buildings have a corrugated panel and preferably include at least one backside panel. The corrugated panel has one or more vertical channels and several horizontal channels. The vertical channels extend the entire panel height and are recessed from the front face. The horizontal channels extending the entire panel width and are also recessed from the front face so they intersect with the vertical channel. The horizontal channels are almost as wide as the vertical channels, and are greater than one-half the vertical channel width. The backside panel is connected to the corrugated panel to form a structural panel assembly. The backside panel can be a shear panel or other backside flat panel, a backside corrugated panel symmetrically mirroring the corrugated panel, a backside corrugated panel asymmetrically mirroring the corrugated panel, a sandwiched corrugated panel, a relief panel or any combination thereof.

摘要: Method for manufacturing an aerogel-containing composite, said method comprising the steps of: providing fibers, at least some of which are first fibers, such as mineral fibers, polymer fibers, cellulose fibers, or other types of fibers, in an amount of from 3 to 80 wt % of the total weight of starting materials, providing an aerogel particulate material in an amount of from 10 to 75 wt % of the total weight of starting materials, providing a binder in an amount of from 1 to 30 wt % of the total weight of starting materials, suspending the fibers in a primary air flow and suspending the aerogel particulate material in the primary air flow, thereby mixing the suspended aerogel particulate material with the suspended fibers, mixing the binder with the fibers and/or aerogel particulate material before, during or after mixing of the fibers with the aerogel particulate material, collecting the mixture of fibers, aerogel particulate material and binder and pressing and curing the mixture to provide a consolidated composite with a density of from 120 kg/m3 to 800 kg/m3. With this method homogeneous composites can be produced.

摘要: An insulated panel system includes a joint disposed between two insulated panels. The joint has a male portion and a female portion. The female portion has a flange, sidewalls, and a base that can be secured to an existing structure. The male portion includes a top plate with sealing sides that rest against the face of the insulated panel when inserted into the female portion. The sealing sides prevent warm air and/or moisture from ingress into a refrigerated space defined by the insulated panels. Also disclosed is a sealing joint for insulated structural panels.
