The modular construction process involves the placement of module panels at a build site and the joining of building services between adjacent panels. Additionally, the system may incorporate a building information modeling (BIM) system that generates electronic models of buildings with two-dimensional modules and corresponding framing components.

The second longitudinal side has a fifth and a sixth planar surface joined by an acute isosceles triangular channel midway between. At an end opposite the 90° joint, the first longitudinal side and the second longitudinal side have free ends each forming a gapped right isosceles triangle. The longitudinal channels increase the axial capacity and the moment capacity of the stud.

In the preferred embodiment, each module is a prism or cuboid having three or four vertical rectangular sides which meet in the module corners. The module ends perpendicular to the sides are the module faces. At least one face has a brace panel. The brace panels and the face are preferably the same shape, but off-set. A plurality of preferably triangular brace arms extends to the module corners. Each brace panel is preferably provided with a centrally located aperture. The lower face of each module is preferably provided with a lip, while the upper face is configured to receive the lip. A cylindrical column extends vertically through the center of each module, and a plurality of struts extends radially from each column. A stack of modules may be secured with a bolt run through the module apertures, an adhesive, or simply gravity.

The system includes a support frame that is self-supported on the floor of the open space. The support frame includes a series of head rails supported by a series of vertical columns resting on the floor. The vertical columns support a series of wall panels and the head rails support a ceiling such that the ceiling is supported by the support frame independent of the wall panels. The ceiling of the enclosed room is created by a series of ceiling panels and at least one air intake panel and at least one air exhaust panel. The air exhaust panel includes an exhaust fan that removes air from within the enclosed room and draws fresh air into the enclosed room. The ceiling can include a plurality of adjustable louvers and lighting.
