    摘要: Disclosed are methods, compositions, proteins, nucleic acids, cells, vectors, compounds, reagents, and systems for the preparation of kavalactones, flavokavains, and kavalactone and flavokavain biosynthetic intermediates using enzymes expressed in heterologous host cells, such as microorganisms or plants, or using in vitro enzymatic reactions. This invention also provides for the expression of the enzymes by recombinant cell lines and vectors. Furthermore, the enzymes can be components of constructs such as fusion proteins. The kavalactones produced can be utilized to treat anxiety disorder, insomnia, and other psychological and neurological disorders. The flavokavains produced can be utilized to treat various cancers including colon, bladder, and breast cancers.

    摘要: The present invention discloses application of a strain CH18 in preparation of anthocyanins and other flavonoid compounds. The preservation number of the strain CH18 is CGMCC NO.14784. Flavonoid compounds have the functions of resisting oxidation, tumors and fatigue, delaying senescence, preventing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, reducing blood pressure and blood lipid, regulating neuroendocrine, resisting osteoporosis, removing freckles, resisting wrinkles, and improving eyesight. The present invention uses microorganisms to produce anthocyanins and other flavonoids, which has the advantages of low price, easy control, short production cycle and year-round production, and can meet the needs of industrial production. Therefore, the present invention opens up a new biological pathway for producing a variety of anthocyanins and other flavonoid compounds with high efficiency and low cost.
