摘要: The present invention relates to polymer latex composition for fibre binding comprising: a) 50 to 98 wt.-% based on the total weight of latex particles in the composition of first latex particles having a volume average particle size of 80 to 1000 nm, wherein the first latex particles optionally bear functional groups and if functional groups are present they are selected from functional groups consisting of acid functional groups and salts, amides or anhydrides thereof, silane functional groups, and combinations thereof; b) 2 to 50 wt.-% based on the total weight of latex particles in the composition of second latex particles having a volume average particle size of 5 to 70 nm bearing epoxy functional groups, to the use of that composition for fibre binding, to a fibre structure comprising the dried residue of that composition and to a method for increasing the strength of a fibre structure.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heat-sealable structure comprising an aluminum foil and a heat-seal lacquer, said structure exhibiting a seal strength, according to ASTM F2824, of more than 23 N/15 mm when heat-sealed to another heat-sealable structure comprising an aluminum foil and the same heat-seal lacquer, the heat-seal lacquers of both structures contacting each other for heat sealing, said seal lacquer comprising a copolymer blend comprising: —from 30 to 80% by weight, preferably 40 to 70% by weight, more preferably from 50 to 60% by weight of a copolymer A based on (meth)acrylate ester (co)polymers, olefin (co)polymers and block or grafted copolymers comprising (met)acrylate ester sequences and olefin sequences, —from 20 to 70% by weight, preferably 30 to 60% by weight, more preferably from 40 to 50% by weight of a copolymer (B) based on vinyl halides, vinyl esters of carboxylic acids and ethylenically unsaturated (poly)carboxylic acids.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a flexible sunlight redirecting film, a photovoltaic module, a light redirecting film and a method of making a sunlight redirecting film. The flexible sunlight redirecting film includes a plurality of microstructures that extend away from a plane of the film. A second layer is disposed on and conforms to the microstructures of the first layer. The second layer is configured to redirect sunlight impinging on the second layer. A third layer comprising a thermally activated adhesive is disposed over the second layer.

摘要: The manufacturing of articles relies on the bonding of two or more components to form some forms of the articles, such as a shoe sole bonded with a shoe upper. The bonding may be achieved with an adhesive particulate that is applied to a surface of a substrate. The adhesive particulate is selectively fused to the substrate with a controlled energy source, such as a laser. The selective application of laser energy allows for specific geometric structures of adhesive particulate to be formed on the substrate. The substrate having the fused adhesive particulate is mated with another component allowing the fused adhesive particulate to bond the first substrate and the second component.

摘要: Methods of bonding hardware to glass and other substrates are provided that do not require use of primers, mixing, fixturing, or autoclaving. These methods include the steps of disposing an adhesive layer on a bonding surface of either the hardware or the vehicular glass, the adhesive layer comprising a curable composition that is dimensionally stable at ambient conditions; either before or after disposing the adhesive layer on the bonding surface, irradiating the adhesive layer with ultraviolet radiation to initiate curing of the curable composition; placing the hardware so as to be bonded to the vehicular glass by the adhesive layer; and allowing the adhesive layer to cure.

摘要: A sealant (9), a method for producing bezel-less liquid crystal display, and a bezel-less liquid crystal display produced by the same. The sealant (9) comprises: an azopyridine derivative represented by the structural formula (1); one or more of polyvinyl alcohol and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; and a solvent, wherein m in the structural formula (1) is an integer of 8-20; and a mass ratio of the azopyridine derivative to the one or more of polyvinyl alcohol and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is 1/99-15/85. A color filter substrate (6) and an array substrate (7) of a liquid crystal display are bound under the irradiation of ultraviolet light by using the photothermal effect and the binding property of a mixture of an azopyridine derivative and one or more of polyvinyl alcohol and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, while the bezel of the liquid crystal display panel is not occupied, so as to obtain a bezel-less liquid crystal display.
