摘要： A binder includes a polyethyleneimine salt and a carboxylate salt polymer. The binder of this application can effectively release stress and maintain the integrity of a molecular network during expansion of particles of a negative active material, thereby exhibiting advantages of both high strength and high toughness, effectively reducing disruption of a bonding interface, and improving cycle performance of the electrochemical device.

摘要： A resin composition including at least one of a monofunctional (meth)acrylate having an imide ring structure or a monomer having a 2-pyrrolidone skeleton and a radical curable group in an amount of about 0.1 weight percent to about 5 weight percent based on the total weight of the resin composition, wherein the resin composition has a viscosity of about 5 millipascal seconds to less than about 50 millipascal seconds at 25° C., and wherein a glass transition temperature of the resin composition after being cured satisfies a value of about −50° C. to less than about 0°C.

摘要： Fiber-containing composites are described that include woven or non-woven fibers, and a binder that holds the fibers together. The binder may include the reaction product of a starch and a polycarboxylic acid. The starch has a weight average molecular weight that ranges from 1×106 Daltons to 10×106 Daltons. The fiber-containing composite has an unaged tensile strength of greater than 4.0 and an aged tensile strength greater than 3.0. Also described are methods of making the fiber-containing composites. The methods may include applying a binder composition to fibers to form coated fibers, measuring a moisture content of the coated fibers, and curing the coated fibers in a curing oven to form the fiber-containing composite. The binder composition may include a starch having a weight average molecular weight that ranges from 1×106 Daltons to 10×106 Daltons, and a polycarboxylic acid.

摘要： The present invention relates to polymer latex composition for fibre binding comprising: a) 50 to 98 wt.-% based on the total weight of latex particles in the composition of first latex particles having a volume average particle size of 80 to 1000 nm, wherein the first latex particles optionally bear functional groups and if functional groups are present they are selected from functional groups consisting of acid functional groups and salts, amides or anhydrides thereof, silane functional groups, and combinations thereof; b) 2 to 50 wt.-% based on the total weight of latex particles in the composition of second latex particles having a volume average particle size of 5 to 70 nm bearing epoxy functional groups, to the use of that composition for fibre binding, to a fibre structure comprising the dried residue of that composition and to a method for increasing the strength of a fibre structure.
