摘要: The present application relates to polyurethane polymers produced by polymerizing a reactant mixture comprising triglycerides of Physaria fendleri, one or more polyisocyanates, and one or more polyols, wherein the triglycerides of Physaria fendleri have a hydroxyl value ranging from 90 milligrams of potassium hydroxide per gram of the triglycerides of Physaria fendleri to 250 milligrams of potassium hydroxide per gram of the triglycerides of Physaria fendleri. The present application also relates to polyester polymers produced by polymerizing a reactant mixture comprising triglycerides of Euphorbia lagascae, and one or more dicarboxylic acids. Also disclosed are the methods of formation of the polyurethane and polyester polymers, and their use as adhesives.

摘要: A polyurethane waterproofing membrane composition, method of use, and building product containing such composition. The polyurethane composition, upon cure, exhibits strong adhesion to the construction substrates on which it is applied as well as to concrete cast upon the cured membrane, producing a continuous and fully bonded waterproof system, even though different surfaces and surface textures are presented at the surface-to-surface joinder among various components within a pre-applied waterproofing construction site.

摘要: Epoxy adhesives include a latent curing agent, a reactive toughener having capped isocyanate groups, and certain urea compounds. The toughener is made by chain extending and capping a mixture of isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. The prepolymers include an isocyanate-terminated polyether and an isocyanate-terminated diene polymer. The adhesives have excellent wash-off resistance and excellent ability to adhere to oily substrates.

摘要: The present invention relates to ureaurethanes of the following formula (I) in which at least one of the R1 or R2 radicals is a mono- or polyunsaturated, branched or unbranched alkenyl or alkynyl radical having 12 to 24 carbon atoms, n is an integer ≥1, where the upper limit for n arises from the maximum number average molecular weight Mn of the ureaurethanes of the general formula (I), which is 65 000 g/mol, and which is determined by means of gel permeation chromatography to DIN 55672-2 using a polymethyl methacrylate standard, R3 is a xylylene radical or a hydrogenated xylylene radical and R4 is a tolylene radical or various other radicals. The invention also relates to ureaurethane compositions comprising the ureaurethanes of the invention and to the preparation of both. The invention further relates to the use of the ureaurethanes or ureaurethane compositions as rheology control agent and anti-settling agent. The invention further provides liquid formulations from the group consisting of coating compositions, polymer formulations, pigment pastes, sealant formulations, cosmetics, ceramic formulations, drilling fluids, adhesive formulations, potting compounds, construction material formulations, lubricants, spackling compounds, printing inks and other inks, comprising the ureaurethanes and ureaurethane compositions.

摘要: A golf ball includes a relatively large polymer core and has a soft ball compression. The polymer is, in the illustrated embodiments, a highly neutralized acid polymer. The golf ball may, optionally, include an outer core made of a different material, such as a thermoset polybutadiene rubber. The golf ball may, optionally, include a mantle layer made of an ionomer material. The inner core having a diameter of between 24 mm and 40 mm, and in some designs, between 28 mm and 32 mm, yields increased iron initial velocity and lower iron spin while maintaining driver performance.

摘要: The invention relates to a two-component or multi-component system comprising: at least one polyol component 1 that has i) at least one polyol, ii) at least one inorganic thickener (a1), and iii) at least one wetting and dispersing agent (a2) which inhibits the thickening effect of said inorganic thickener (a1); as well as at least one polyisocyanate component 2 that comprises i) at least one polyisocyanate; where (A) either the polyisocyanate component 2 comprises at least one component (b1) that at least partially cancels the inhibition of the thickening effect of the inorganic thickener (a1); and/or (B) at least one isocyanate-free component 3 comprises at least one component (b1) that at least partially cancels the inhibition of the thickening effect of the inorganic thickener (a1); said wetting and dispersing agent (a2) being non-reactive to the at least one polyol, and the polyisocyanate component 2 being reactive to the polyol component 1. The invention also relates to a substrate coated with a system according to the invention, and to the use of at least one inorganic thickener (a1) and at least one wetting and dispersing agent (a2) which inhibits the thickening effect of said inorganic thickener (a1), in order to provide a latent thickening effect for a composition that contains at least one polyol.

摘要: The present invention provides for an ethylenically unsaturated hydroxyl-terminated polyurethane (I) obtained by reacting (i) at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound (A) containing at least two reactive groups capable of reacting with isocyanate groups and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group; with (ii) at least one saturated alcohol component (B) comprising: (iia) at least one saturated hydroxylated compound (B1) containing hydrophilic groups capable of rendering the polyurethane dispersible in aqueous medium either directly or after the reaction with a neutralizing agent to provide a salt, and at least one compound (B2) that is selected from saturated polyester polyols (B21) and/or from saturated polycarbonate polyols (B22); and/or (iib) at least one compound (B3) that is selected from saturated polyester polyols (B31) containing compound (B1) moieties and/or from saturated polycarbonate polyols (B32) containing compound (B1) moieties; and, optionally, one or more of compounds (B1) and/or (B2); (iii) optionally, at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound (C) containing essentially one reactive group capable of reacting with isocyanate groups; and with (iv) at least one polyisocyanate (D). The present invention further relates to radiation curable coating compositions comprising same, to their preparation process and their uses.
