    摘要: A process for the production of rigid polyurethane foams involves reactinga) organic and/or modified organic polyisocyanates withb) at least one relatively high-molecular-weight compound containing at least two reactive hydrogen atoms, and, if desired,c) low-molecular-weight chain extenders and/or cross-linking agents,in the presence ofd) blowing agents,e) catalysts and, if desired,f) assistants and/or additives,where the relatively high-molecular-weight compounds (b) containing at least two reactive hydrogen atoms are polyoxypropylene-polyols and/or polyoxyethylene-polyoxy-propylene-polyols containing up to 20% by weight, based on the weight of the alkylene oxide units, of pendant oxyethylene units containing secondary hydroxyl groups and having a functionality of from 3.8 to 4.1, a hydroxyl number of from 385 to 410 mg of KOH/g and a viscosity of from 1700 to 2400 mPa.multidot.s at 25.degree. C., and which can be prepared by anionic polymerization of 1,2-propylene oxide and, if desired, ethylene oxide on an initiator molecule mixture comprising sucrose, pentaerythritol and diethylene glycol.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a process for the preparation of molded polyurethane articles having densities of about 0.8 to 1.4 g/cm.sup.3 and a flex moduli according to DIN 53,457 of at least about 1800 N/mm.sup.2 by reacting according to the technique of reaction injection molding(a) di- and/or polyisocyanates of the diphenylmethane series with(b) polyether polyols in the molecular weight range of 500 to 999,(c) organic polyhydroxyl compounds in the molecular weight range of 62 to 499 and optionally(d) polyethers in the molecular weight range of 1000 to about 10,000 containing at least two isocyanate reactive groups and/or(e) aromatic diamines with a molecular weight of less than 500 in the presence of(f) catalysts which accelerate the isocyanate addition reactionwherein(i) the polyether polyols used as component (b) have at least about 30% by weight of ethylene oxide units incorporated in polyether chains,(ii) component (d) is used in a quantity of 0 to about 40% by weight, based on the weight of components (b) to (e), and(iii) the nature and quantitative proportions of components (b) to (e) are chosen so that the average hydroxyl number of the mixture of these components is greater than about 300.

    摘要: A process is provided for producing semi-rigid polyurethane foams having exceptional shock-absorbing properties, even after repeated compression, prepared by the reaction of a polyisocyanate; a polyether polyol having a molecular weight within the range from about 2,000 to about 10,000; from about 1 to about 5% by weight of water per part by weight of polyether polyol; from about 1 to about 6% by weight of urea and/or thiourea per part by weight of polyether polyol; and a cross-linking compound having at least three active hydrogen atoms per molecule that are reactive with isocyanate groups and having a molecular weight below about 1000 in an amount from about 5 to about 25% by weight per part by weight of polyether polyol; the amount of polyisocyanate being selected to give an isocyanate index within the range from about 0.7 to about 1.4.The process provides polyurethane foams that have a cellular structure that remains undamaged under compression as high as 60% at temperatures within the range from about +60.degree. C to about -40.degree. C, and the consequent deformation is less than 1% even after ten compressions of at lest 50% in rapid succession.Accordingly, the invention further provides vehicle bumpers having an impact-receiving layer of this polyurethane foam, and that meet the requirements of FMVSS 215.
