Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition comprising an active ingredient with a maximum solubility in water at 20° C. of 10 g/l, and a hyperbranched polyester which is joined to a polar polymer which comprises a polycondensate or a polymer comprising ethylenically unsaturated monomers. The invention further relates to the hyperbranched polyester mentioned and to a process for preparation thereof. It further relates to the use of the hyperbranched polyester for solubilizing the active ingredient in aqueous compositions.
Abstract:
Provided is a compound capable of forming a coating layer that has excellent scratch resistance and still has stain resistance (in particular, stain resistance against hair dyes) and workability (impact resistance) both at satisfactory levels. The urethane (meth)acrylate has a cyclic structure in a molecule. The urethane (meth)acrylate has a total weight of carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur atoms constituting the ring or rings of the cyclic structure of 10 percent by weight or more based on the total amount (100 percent by weight) of the urethane (meth)acrylate. The urethane (meth)acrylate also has an average number of functional groups of 3.5 to 4.5.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a copolymer of the formula where A, B, and D are independently of one another an aliphatic (cyclo)alkylene radical, R is a C1-C10 alkyl radical, and 3≦x≦10. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing the copolymer, to its use and also to a coating composition and a coating formulation containing the copolymer.
Abstract:
A circuit-connecting material interposed between mutually-facing circuit electrodes, and electrically connecting the electrodes, either by direct contact, or via conductive particles present in the material. The circuit-connecting material features: (1) a curing agent capable of generating free radicals upon heating; (2) a radical-polymerizable substance, and two or more microscopically separated phases. The two or more microscopically separated phases include an elastomer phase of carboxyl-group-containing elastomer and a phenoxy resin phase of a phenoxy resin having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 or more.
