    摘要: A method for manufacturing a concrete product includes providing a metal-based cementing agent, and an acid-based cement reacting agent of the form HnXOm, where “X” is an element selected from group consisting of phosphorous, carbon, sulfur and boron, “n” and “m” are selected so that the cement reacting agent is an acid, and “X” will bond with the metal-based cementing agent to form a metal cement. The method further includes providing an aggregate defined by an exposed surface area having metallic aggregate linking elements thereon which can chemically bond with “X” in the presence of the acid-based cement reacting agent, and providing a hydroxide-supplying additive. The method includes combining together the metal-based cementing agent, the acid-based cement reacting agent, the aggregate and the hydroxide-supplying additive, and allowing the metal-based cementing agent and the acid-based cement reacting agent to react and bond with the aggregate to form the concrete product.

    摘要: A description is given of a two-component mortar composition having a curable resin component having a content of at least one free-radically polymerizable resin, fillers, accelerators, stabilizers and optionally further conventional mortar constituents and a hardener component which is arranged separately therefrom to inhibit reaction and has a content of at least one peroxide for chemical fastening of anchoring means in boreholes, which is characterized in that the resin component contains from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight of at least one accelerator and from 0.003 to 0.03% by weight of at least one stabilizer and the hardener component contains from 0.1 to 0.35% by weight of organic peroxide, in each case based on the total weight of resin component and hardener component, and also the use of this two-component mortar composition for chemical fastening of anchoring means in boreholes.

Another method of forming a resin grouting capsule includes: injecting a hardenable material into a first compartment of the capsule having catalyst mastic; wherein the hardenable material does not substantially react with the catalyst mastic when injected into the first compartment.

    摘要: A process for making a pervious concrete comprising a geopolymerized pozzolanic ash. Generally, the process includes mixing a solid aggregate and a geopolymerized pozzolanic ash binder together to form a pervious concrete mixture. Some examples of suitable aggregates comprise recycled carpet, recycled cement, and aggregates of coal-combustion byproducts. The geopolymerized pozzolanic ash binder is made by combining a pozzolanic ash, such as fly ash, with a sufficient amount of an alkaline activator and water to initiate a geopolymerization reaction. The activator solution may contain an alkali metal hydroxide, carbonate, silicate, aluminate, or mixtures thereof. In some aspects, the final concrete forms a solid mass in the form of pavement or a pre-cast concrete shape. The solid mass of concrete may have a void content of between about 5% and about 35%.
