摘要: Water-based coating compositions or paint having improved gloss retention, including a latex or water-dispersible polymer, a UV-VIS absorber comprising a substituted benzophenone capable of being a free radical generator, a hindered amine light stabilizer, and optionally a low-VOC coalescent provided in a preferably desired amount. A composition comprising a blend a UV-VIS absorber comprising a substituted benzophenone capable of being a free radical generator, a hindered amine light stabilizer, and a low-VOC coalescent, providing a thermally-stable coalescent that can be used in a paint formulation for gloss retention. Gloss retention of paints containing the UV-VIS absorber and hindered amine light stabilizer being markedly improved over paints that do not have both components present.

摘要: This rubber composition comprises a rubber wet master batch which uses a rubber latex solution and a carbon black (A)-containing slurry as raw materials, rubber, and carbon black (B), wherein the amount of the carbon black (A) in the rubber wet master batch is 1 to 35 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the rubber component in the rubber wet master batch, and the total amount of the carbon black (A) and (B) in the rubber composition is 50 parts by weight or more with respect to 100 parts by weight of the total rubber component in the rubber composition. Accordingly, the present invention can provide: a rubber composition from which vulcanized rubber having excellent low heat generating properties and wear resistance can be obtained; and a method for producing the rubber composition.

摘要: An animal toy is provided constructed from a latex or natural rubber material and formed into a ball. The ball is formed of an aggregate of particulate material that are bound together to form a substantially non-hollow construction. Pieces of latex are joined together to form balls, and the balls may be pressed together and constructed by hand or, alternatively, pressed into molds. By constructing the balls by hand, no two balls, even balls of similar size, are identical. Each ball has irregular outer surface that forms a variety of resilient protuberances that provide beneficial oral hygiene effects when chewed or rubbed against the teeth.
