The reel assembly includes a housing, a drum core disposed within the housing, and a splitter flange separating the drum core into a first partition and a second partition. A first conduit is wound on the first partition of the drum core, and a second conduit is wound on the second partition of the drum core. A conduit handler system is utilized to make a connection or test a connection between the first conduit and the second conduit using actuating pistons to apply a compressive or an opposing tensile force on the connection.

A connector can removably attach the second distal end portion of the second portion of linear material with the first proximal end portion of the first portion of linear material. A strain relief member can be configured to control an amount by which the second portion of linear material unspools from the hose reel.

摘要： The present invention relates to a powered hose reel device for taking up a hose about a reel without having to do so by hand. A reel is disposed between the reel support walls and mounted on one end to a rim integrally formed on an inner wall of one of the reel support walls. The reel is adapted to carry a hose thereabout. There is a motor mounted to one of the reel support portions, and disposed within the chamber formed by the inner wall of the reel. A rechargeable battery provides power. A shaft is operatively connected to the motor and is engaged with a bracket mounted to the inner surface of the reel. When the motor is activated the shaft turns the reel. A hose guide assembly is provided for leading and guiding the hose during the retrieving of the hose about the reel. A solar panel recharges the battery when the device is not operating.

摘要： The present invention relates to hose reel carts for handling and storage of flexible hoses, such as garden or air hoses. The hose reel cart is primarily constructed of plastic components having a centrally rotatable spool for winding of the flexible hose, a frame for supporting the spool and a multi-position crank arm assembly allowing the consumer to place the crank handle in a lowered position or a raised position. The crank remotely drives the spool, for winding the hose, through a series of gears located within the crank arm assembly. The device may further include a reciprocating guide assembly that operates during rotation of the spool to rewind the hose into a compact configuration.

摘要： A hose cart combining the features of an off-set handle, to permit any easier retrieval of paid out hose, a hose tracker, to permit hose to be neatly wound onto a reel, and a storage system comprising a protective housing, to provide storage and protection for a hose kept within, is provided. The invention includes the use of a crank to turn a reel which causes paid out hose to be drawn into the protective box onto a reel. The use of a plurality of gears permits the crank to be offset from the center of the reel, such that it is elevated to a more convenient cranking position. Further, the use of gears permits the same movement of the crank, which causes hose to be collected, causes a hose guide to move laterally, along the axis of the reel, such that hose is neatly layered onto the reel.
