摘要： A film-enclosed bath article and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The method includes providing a formed bath article enclosing the formed bath article in a water-soluble film. The formed bath article is capable of producing a gas upon contacting a liquid. The water-soluble film has a thickness between approximately 10 μm and approximately 28 μm. The method further includes heating the water-soluble film to a temperature of at least approximately 300° F. to cause the water-soluble film to shrink around the formed bath article.

摘要： A reusable closure system is disclosed for flexible packaging applications. The system generally includes base and lid portions. The base portion can be bonded to underlying package material and includes first and second fields of touch fasteners separated by a multi-layer buffer zone. The buffer zone can be at least in part co-located with a frangible region of underlying package material. In some embodiments, the buffer zone is substantially free of active bonding agent, such that there is little or no active bonding agent overlapping the frangible region. One of the touch fastener fields of the base can be deployed at least partially within the area defined by the frangible region. The other touch fastener field is deployed around the buffer zone. The lid portion can be bonded to the package material and/or base portion, and includes a hinge and another touch fastener field to mate with the base fields.

At least one line of weakness (24) substantially extends around a portion of the flexible wrapper body to define a removable portion (28) of the flexible wrapper body, such that application of a separation force upon the removable portion separates the removable portion from the flexible wrapper body at the at least one line of weakness and forms an opening in the flexible wrapper body. A flexible film member (26) is disposed over and extending beyond the at least one line of weakness, in which the flexible film member is configured to prevent pre-separation of the removable portion from the flexible wrapper body.

The peak edges define an undulating plastic film travel path between a web upstream location and a web downstream location. The web of film is tensioned between the upstream location and the downstream location and travels along the continuous undulating path. The film flexibly bends over the peak edges as a result of the tension and is thereby supported and maintained aligned.

摘要： This invention is to replace the need for a corrugated carton by wrapping an article with a heat shrinkable bubble wrap film. Heat shrinking the bubble wrap will allow the bubble wrap to shrink sufficiently to conform to an article such as a group of containers, e.g. bottles. Because of the inability of the bubble wrap film to tightly shrink around the containers, the containers can move and bump each other. To ensure stability, the bubble wrapped article is film wrapped with a heat shrink film and heat shrunk to provide an article that does not require a corrugated box for to ensure the integrity of the containers.
