摘要： A film package with a resealable access opening providing improved access to the package contents is provided. The film package may include a tray, frame, or other reinforcing structure containing or holding discrete articles disposed in a row, column, or array, a flexible film forming at least a top of the film package, an access opening disposed at least in the top defined by a cut in the film, and a sealing layer adhesively sealed to the film or a remainder of the film around the access opening. In one embodiment, the access cut forming the access opening into the film has an expanded portion that extends outward from the remainder of the access cut to facilitate easier removal of the discrete articles within the package. To further improve access, the tray may have an opening or window therein to permit the discrete article to move longitudinally and/or laterally therein.

The sheet is cut through both layers to outline a flap portion, the cut leaving an edge in a hinge region, the upper layer being removed behind the line of the hinge region. In this way the flexible lower layer forms a hinge that is easy to handle and does not spring back, while the stiff upper layer maintains the shape of the flap.

摘要： A flat-bottomed bag is formed from a flexible sheet that initially is flat prior to being manipulated to form the bag. The sheet is a laminate of a first web and a second web laminated together by an adhesive layer disposed between the webs. The sheet defines a plurality of serially connected side wall panels collectively defining a vertically extending side wall of the bag, and a plurality of bottom panels respectively connected to the side wall panels at respective fold lines. The bottom panels are folded about the fold lines and are attached together to form a flat bottom wall configured to support the bag in an upright orientation. The adhesive layer is in a partial-coverage pattern that includes adhesive-free regions located along each fold line between each bottom panel and the respective side wall panel connected therewith.

摘要： A resealable label flap is positionable to cover an opening in a package containing removable articles. The label flap includes a base layer extending between a first and a second end. The base layer includes a first adhesive on a bottom face surface and permits repeated application and separation of the base layer relative to the package. The base layer has a starting tab to permit removal of the base layer from the package. A top layer includes a second adhesive on a bottom face surface that fixes the top layer to a top face surface of the base layer. The top layer is formed with a removed cutout that defines a hinge for enhancing separation of the base layer and the top layer from the package upon manipulation of the starting tab.
