摘要: A personal mobility vehicle 1 includes one or more automation components, a vault 2, and locking means 3 adapted to lock the vault 2. The automation components include at least one of a motor controller, computing processors, or a battery to power other automation components, or combination thereof. The functional components are the components that either display various information related to navigation of the vehicle, or receive inputs to be processed by the computing processor or microcontroller, or receives triggers from the motor controller or the computing processor regarding the functioning of the functional components, or combination thereof. Inside the vault 2, the automation components are placed, such that the automation components are functionally connected to other functional components of the vehicle 1. The embodiment helps to safeguard the automation components, and keep them protected, such that authorized personnel have access to the automation components inside the vault. These automation components are critical to functioning of the vehicle 1.

摘要: The invention relates to a motor vehicle (1) comprising a chassis frame (2), a platform (5) and at least one folding side (6) movable between a raised position and a lowered position. The platform (5) comprises a stationary portion (50) and at least one lateral movable portion (51) vertically movable between a high position, in which it is flush with the stationary portion (50), and a low position, in which it has been lowered, there being provided means (7) for controlling the vertical movement of the at least one movable portion (51). The or each folding side (6) is connected to a respective movable portion (51) in such a way that they are vertically movable in one piece while the folding side (6) is in the lowered position.

摘要: In a traveling apparatus, a front wheel supporting member is coupled to a rear wheel supporting member rotatably around a pivot axis and with a support shaft in such a way that a wheel base length will become variable according to a relative posture of the front wheel supporting member and the rear wheel supporting member. Control is performed so that the greater the wheel base length, the greater a speed of the traveling apparatus in a forward direction will become. When the wheel base length is one at which the speed in the forward direction becomes substantially zero, while the front wheel is oriented in a straight traveling direction, an intersection point where the pivot axis crosses a road surface is located at a position offset from a grounding point where the front wheel is grounded on the road surface toward a side of the rear wheel.

摘要: Embodiments of a smart mobility aid device may have sensors to collect, monitor, analyze and represent data including but not limited to activity tracking, biometrics and safety and emergency features. The activity tracking include number of steps, miles, and activity speed, user pressure on a device, activity types and analysis. The user biometric data includes but is not limited to blood work, blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, oxygen level/rate, ECG, EMG, muscle strain, humidity, UV, body temperature. Additional features include an emergency button, fall detection, warnings, and user pattern analysis changes. The mobility aid device is connected to other smart electronic device and/or the Internet using but not limited to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and or/and SIM card. The device gives the user or/and caregiver live feedback about user health metrics and status using a data representation method.

摘要: Drifting karts in accordance with embodiments of the invention are described that include a front wheel drive train and rear caster wheels that can be dynamically engaged to induce and control drift during a turn. One embodiment of the invention includes a chassis to which a steering column is mounted, where the steering column includes at least one front steerable wheel configured to be driven by an electric motor, a battery housing mounted to the chassis, where the battery housing contains a controller and at least one battery, wiring configured to provide power from the at least one battery to the electric motor, two caster wheels mounted to the chassis, where each caster wheel is configured to rotate around a rotational axis and swivel around a swivel axis, and a hand lever configured to dynamically engage the caster wheels to induce and control drift during a turn.
