    摘要: Systems and methods for emergency brake systems are provided herein. In this regard, a brake system may comprise a summing lever having a first end and a second end, a brake handle coupled to the first end of the summing lever, the brake handle rotatably coupled about a first axis, and a linear actuator having a plunger, the plunger being coupled to the second end of the summing lever. In various embodiments, an idler link may be coupled between the brake handle and the first end of the summing lever. The brake system may further comprise a brake cable coupled between the summing lever and a brake metering valve. The brake metering valve may be actuated in response to at least one of the brake handle being rotated about the first axis or the linear actuator being actuated.

    摘要: An electronic parking brake for a vehicle includes: a drum assembly braking a wheel; a driving motor generating a driving force for braking the wheel; a driving gear coupled to a driving shaft of the driving motor and rotated; a driven gear coupled to the driving gear and rotated; a cable operating member geared to the driven gear, and advanced or retreated by the rotation of the driven gear so as to operate a parking cable of the drum assembly; an elastic member restricting the movement of the cable operating member; a current sensing unit configured to sense a driving current of the driving motor and provide the sensed driving current; and a control unit configured to operate the driving motor during brake release, and control the operation of the driving motor based on a change of the driving current inputted from the current sensing unit during brake release.

The gear reduction assembly rotates an output shaft at a speed slower than the speed of rotation of the motor. The output shaft has opposite ends that are linked by a pair of actuating rods to a pair of parking brakes. As the motor is rotated in reverse rotary directions, the connecting portions of the rods that are coupled to the parking brakes are moved in opposite, straight line directions to move the parking brakes between brake disengaged and brake engaged positions.

The cup (50) is capable of reaching an axially extended position, corresponding to a released brake condition, and an axially retracted position towards the first fixed transversal surface (18), against the bias of the spring (53), corresponding to a brake actuated condition.

    摘要: A Self Activated Power Brake comprising a rotating brake disk fitted coaxially to a wheel and the main brake caliper/shoes fitted on dead axle/body frame. A sliding mechanism having shaped resembles to arc in orbit of brake disk. The mechanism having in two major parts, one is sliding and other is fixed which consists sliding bed and fitted with main power brake caliper. A pilot brake caliper, which is in sliding mode (floating mode), fitted on sliding part of the said sliding mechanism. At least one power transmitting means out of suggested means is needed to be linked the sliding pilot brake caliper to main power brake caliper to transfer the friction power of the pilot brake caliper after required amplification of the same. On braking action, the pilot brake caliper which is actuated by fluid line coming from master cylinder, actuates main power brake caliper through at least one power transmitting means as aforesaid to do the job as a SELF-ACTIVATED POWER BRAKE.
