    摘要: A system includes a first controller including a processor and a memory, and the memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive first acceleration data from an accelerometer; upon determining that the first acceleration data satisfies a first criterion, transmit a wake-up instruction to a second controller; upon determining that the first acceleration data fails to satisfy the first criterion, instruct the accelerometer to send second acceleration data; and upon determining that the second acceleration data satisfies a second criterion, transmit the wake-up instruction to the second controller. The first criterion includes jerk exceeding a jerk threshold.

    摘要: The present invention is a theft deterrent system for a catalytic converter. The present invention alerts anyone nearby an automotive vehicle when someone is trying to steal the catalytic converter. The underside of the automotive vehicle is monitored by the present invention and the present invention can act independently or be integrated into the existing alarm system. The present invention can be positioned at various points across the underside of the automotive vehicle in order to accommodate different types of automotive vehicles. Furthermore, the present invention may be integrated into an aftermarket automotive vehicle alarm system without attaching or physically connecting with the automotive vehicle catalytic converter. This allows the automotive vehicle catalytic converter to remain uninhibited by the present invention while still being monitored by the security system.

    摘要: A vehicular emergency reporting device includes a voltage step-down unit, an auxiliary power source, a voltage step-up unit, a control unit, an emergency report executing unit, and a switching unit. When a decreased voltage decreased by the voltage step-down unit is lower than an increased voltage increased by the voltage step-up unit, the emergency report executing unit performs an emergency report using the increased voltage as the operation voltage. When the decreased voltage is lower than the increased voltage, the switching unit switches a power supply mode between a first mode in which the increased voltage is supplied to the control unit and the emergency report executing unit and a second mode in which an auxiliary power source voltage is supplied to the control unit and the emergency report executing unit without being increased by the voltage step-up unit.

    摘要: A remote control system is for a vehicle including a data communications bus extending therein, and a plurality of vehicle devices communicating over the data communications bus. The system may include a cellular transceiver within the vehicle, and a multi-vehicle controller within the vehicle and coupled to the data communications bus for communication with at least one of the plurality of vehicle devices to perform a remote vehicle function based upon a received remote control signal. The multi-vehicle controller may be enabled to communicate via the data communications bus using a desired set of signals for a corresponding desired vehicle from a plurality of sets of signals for different vehicles based upon learning from at least one of the plurality of vehicle devices on the data communications bus and downloading via the cellular transceiver.

    摘要: An on-vehicle controller performs smart control for transmitting a transmission request signal to a predetermined area and for unlocking a door of a vehicle based on a return signal transmitted by a portable device receiving the transmission request signal, security control for providing a warning if improper conduct to the vehicle is detected, remote keyless entry control for locking or unlocking the door according to a manual operation signal, which is transmitted from the portable device according to button manipulation thereof, and immobilizer control for permitting an engine start if an identification code transmitted from a transponder of the portable device coincides with an identification code stored in the vehicle. If a mode switch is switched to an off position, the controller is switched to a power-saving mode for performing only the immobilizer control.

    摘要: A multi-functional burglar-proof lockset assembly structure is composed a lockset, an alarm system, a chargeable and dischargeable battery, and a solar energy panel. The lockset body can be locked on a wheel ring of a steering wheel to restrict rotation, and at a same time the alarm system in the lockset is activated to proceed with detection of frequency change of reflected ultrasonic wave, detection of abnormal fracture of glass, and preventive detection of ultrasonic signals, through a detection end and a central processing unit. In a same time, the solar energy panel is used to transform sunlight into electric energy which is stored by the chargeable and dischargeable battery, enabling the burglar-proof lockset to solve trouble of dismantling the lockset when the electric power is insufficient and to save cost of replacement.
