摘要: User access to a physical location (e.g., a homes, businesses, or other locations) may be granted for certain limited tasks based on one or more access procedures stored in a registry and associated with an identity of the user. Such access may be given without including an interaction with an owner, administrator, or manager of the location. User individuals may self-identify themselves to an access server or registry after arriving at the premises and receive corresponding access privileges via one or more devices within the premises based on access procedures stored in the access registry. The access procedures may be executed by the access server through communications with access devices within or about the premises and may be tailored based on the type of user individual or type of access requested.

摘要: It is provided a method for managing administration privileges of an electronic lock. The method is performed in the electronic lock and comprises the steps of: receiving a first signal from a first mobile device, the first signal comprising a first code entered by a user to the first mobile device, and an identifier of the first mobile device; determining that the first mobile device has administration privileges to the electronic lock; storing the first code in memory of the electronic lock; receiving a second signal from a second mobile device, the second signal comprising a second code entered by a user to the second mobile device, and an identifier of the second mobile device; and granting administration privileges to the lock for the second mobile device only when the second code matches the first code.

摘要: A lock for an access door having an electrically powered electronic smart lock control and a keyless mechanical lock control, and a single locking bolt element. The single locking bolt element is made movably operable, to permit opening of the access door, with either of an electronic code entry via the electrically powered electronic smart lock control or a mechanical code entry via the keyless mechanical lock control. The mechanical lock control, with mechanical code entry, thereby provides a fail-safe back up for keyless entry through the access door in the event of electrical failure on the electronic smart lock.

The invention generally comprises determining that a user has entered a secure environment, wherein the secure environment comprises a safe-deposit box associated with the user, automatically generating a digital authentication key in response determining that the user has entered the secure environment, verifying the digital authentication key as being linked to the user, and transmitting instructions to a safe-deposit box to unlock and provide access during the scheduled session.

摘要: A set-top box with enhanced behavioral controls and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, a wireless transceiver is located within a housing, which also interconnectedly includes a television input, a television output, a processor, and memory. The set-top box may pair with an electronic door locking apparatus coupled to a door that is room-collocated with the set-top box in a hospitality establishment. The set-top box may then receive a status signal from the electronic door locking apparatus relative to the open/closed status of the door and locked/unlocked status of the door.

摘要: Disclosed herein are various embodiments of an electronic lockbox for storing keys and key cards. The lockbox may include calendar-based entry rules so that the key codes can differ based on the date and time. The lockbox may be controllable by a mobile device such as a mobile phone, tablet, or other mobile device. The lockbox may include functionality so that key codes for the lockbox can be transmitted via websites such as Airbnb, HomeAway, or other rental websites, so that guests automatically receive their unique lockbox codes when they confirm their reservations. The lockbox may also receive a Bluetooth low energy virtual key which may be transmitted directly from a user's mobile phone to the lockbox, so that no manual code entry through the keypad is required by a user. The lockbox may be capable of accepting multiple passcodes enabled at different times and dates, and for different purposes.

摘要: An embodiment herein provides a system for preventing pilferage and tampering of a lock from a vehicle 112. The system includes at least one electromechanical padlock (EMPL) 116, a secure key housing 114, a tunnel transport layer security (TTLS) application server 108. The at least EMPL 116 is adapted to attach to a container of a vehicle 112 to lock or unlock the container of the vehicle 112. The secure key housing 114 includes at least one key to lock or unlock the at least one EMPL 116. The TTLS application server 108 generates unique codes for operating the at least one key corresponding to the at least one EMPL 116. The TTLS application server 108 generates a onetime password and communicates the onetime password to a computing device 104 of the authorized personnel 102 when the vehicle 112 reaches the receiving office.
