Abstract: A system is provided for unlocking a lock comprising: an electronic locking core (1) for insertion in a lock body (18), and a separate power source (40). The locking core (1) comprises: a casing (12) housing an electronic circuit board (20), and a motor (26). The motor (26) is configured to move a locking member (28) located at one end of the casing (12) and externally thereof that transitions a latch of the lock between a locked and an unlocked configuration. A terminal (56) is located at the opposite end of the casing (12) to receive power from the separate power source (40). The power source (40) is housed within a cartridge (42) separate from and connectable to the locking core (1), the cartridge (42) including a co-operating terminal to connect the power source (40) to the electronic circuit board (20). The motor (26) is activated to move the locking member (28) to unlock the lock when the separate power source (40) is connected to the locking core (1) and the electronic circuit board (20) receives a unique data code from a remote source.

Abstract: The electronic actuator of an electronic padlock according to the invention is arranged to turn the cam piece (5) to release the latch parts (7) from a locking state and to turn the cam piece (5) to hold the latch parts (7) in the locking state. The cam piece (5) comprises a cover part (5A) and a shaft part (5B). The cover part has a central hole (12) for the shaft part. The shaft part (5B) has a shaft pin (15), which is set into the central hole (12). The shaft part also has a connecting part 19, which is arranged to be in contact with the electronic actuator 4. The cam piece further comprises a spring (9) which is between the shaft pin (15) and the cover part (5A). The spring comprises a first end (9A) and a second end (9B). The first end 9A is arranged to be in contact with the cover part 5A. The second end 9B is arranged to be in contact with the shaft part 5B. The spring is arranged to transmit turning force of the electronic actuator from the shaft pin 15 to the cover part 5A in the direction of said locking state.

Abstract: An electronic lockbox including a key bin having an embedded insert. The insert is embedded during a die cast process. The insert enhances the attack resistance of the lockbox from hammering, chiseling, and drilling attacks. The insert includes “3D features” that help with the casting process and attack resistance, including at least one through-hole, at least one slot, and at least one ridge. A housing portion is constructed over multiple drawing stages to increase its hardness and strength, thereby increasing resistance to prying attacks.

Abstract: A padlock device includes a housing; a shackle associated within the housing and having, with respect to the housing, a closed configuration and an open configuration; a latch subsystem associated with the housing for securely retaining the shackle in the closed configuration, the latch subsystem electrically operable to release the shackle; a biometric sensor associated with the housing to electronically sense fingerprint data from a finger being sensed; a control subsystem in the housing in communication with the biometric sensor and the latch subsystem, the control subsystem comprising: internal processor-readable memory configured to store one or more fingerprint records, each fingerprint record comprising authorized fingerprint data associated with a respective fingerprint identifier; processing structure configured to receive sensed fingerprint data from the biometric sensor and to cause the latch subsystem to release the shackle in the event of a release condition requiring at least that the sensed fingerprint data corresponds to authorized fingerprint data in at least one of the fingerprint records; the processing structure configured to present a management interface accessible by an external device in authorized communication with the control system to selectively: store one or more fingerprint records in the internal processor-readable memory; and delete or disable one or more stored fingerprint records in the internal processor-readable memory based at least on one or more respective fingerprint identifiers provided by the external device. A padlock system includes the padlock device; and a processor-readable medium embodying a computer program for provisioning an external device to conduct authorized communications with the padlock device, the computer program including program code for presenting a user interface on the external device for enabling the authorized manager to conduct managing of fingerprint records for the padlock device; and program code for accessing the management interface of the padlock device in accordance with the managing.

Abstract: A laminated padlock comprises a laminated padlock body formed by laminating a plurality of lock sheets, a lock core assembly, and a lock beam connected with the top of the laminated padlock body.
