摘要: Provided is light irradiation method for irradiating a light absorbing material with light beam having wavelength absorbable by light absorbing material, including applying to light absorbing material, energy that enables light absorbing material to fly, by pressure in a vaporized region higher than or equal to outside pressure, wherein vaporized region is present at interface between a transparent body and light absorbing material in a manner to surround an optical axis. Also provided is flying body generating method including irradiating a surface of a base material opposite to a surface over which light absorbing material is disposed with laser beam to fly light absorbing material in an emitting direction of laser beam, wherein vaporized region having pressure higher than or equal to outside pressure is generated along outer circumference of a region irradiated with laser beam at interface between base material and light absorbing material.

摘要: There is provided a medium issuance system which can easily transfer print on an intermediate transfer sheet to a polycarbonate transfer medium. The medium issuance system 50 includes an intermediate transfer sheet supply section 52 for supplying an intermediate transfer sheet 53 to a polycarbonate transfer medium 1, and a hot stamp 55 for heating and pressing the intermediate transfer sheet 53 to transfer print 10A, 10C on the intermediate transfer sheet 53 to the transfer medium 1. The hot stamp 55 heats and presses the intermediate transfer sheet 53 at a temperature of not less than 120° C. and not more than 200° C., and at a pressure of not less than 0.1 kgf/cm2 and not more than 1000 kgf/cm2.

摘要: It has been found, that when co-absorbing substances are added to intrinsic laser-absorbing bismuthoxide, the marking performance with a Nd.YAG-laser is improved or at least kept at the same level by reducing the costs. It is suspected, that the co-absorbing additive is not simply adding a contrast to the polymer by carbonizing the surrounding polymer but helping the bismuthoxide to couple the laser radiation and to ease the color change of this additive. This so found effect helps to cheapen the replacement of antimony trioxide and therewith have a safer and more sustainable solution for the current and future technology of laser marking.

摘要: Apparatus and method for using a line laser (LL) to quickly mark a substrate or media by utilizing a laser additive on/within the substrate/media, which greatly reduces the power requirement for marking the substrate/media. The combination of the LL wide swath (>305 mm) and the improved media/surface sensitivity to laser wavelength allows the LL marking system to achieve faster marking than other systems. The LL is mounted over a transport which transports the sensitized substrate/media past the LL for marking. The desired image is projected from the LL line by line in synch with the moving media and once the media passes the beam path of the LL, marking is complete. In this case, the media has been physically-altered via the heat generated by the LL interacting with the photosensitized media and is permanent. A second method would use a photosensitizing agent coated on top of the media to be marked.

The customizable document includes, according to an alternative: a layer (12) which can be customized by contact-free writing an opaque customization mask that is transparent in at least one transparency area (121); a first multilayer film (102) arranged on a first side of the customizable layer (12), including a layer having a high refractive index and encapsulated between two layers having a low refractive index, and structured over at least a portion of the surface thereof such as to form a first subwavelength array, characterized by a first array vector, such that the first multilayer film acts at zero order as a wavelength subtractive filter; a second multilayer film (102) arranged on a second side of the customizable layer, opposite the first side, including a layer having a high refractive index and encapsulated between two layers having a low refractive index, and structured over at least a portion of the surface thereof such as to form a second subwavelength array characterized by a second array vector, such that the second multilayer film acts at zero order as a wavelength subtractive filter, the first and second arrays being at least partially stacked.
