    摘要: An apparatus for storing tissue and other biological materials includes a separable flexible container that includes a first layer coupled to a second layer via a set of seals to define a first storage volume and a second storage volume. Separate tissue specimens are containable within the first storage volume and the second storage volume. A first portion of the first layer or the second layer defines a first opening into the first storage volume. A second portion of the first layer or the second layer defines a second opening into the second storage volume. The opening into the first volume and the opening into the second volume are positioned near opposite edges of the flexible container. The separable flexible container also includes a hinge to allow the first opening and the second opening to move from location on opposing edges of the separable flexible container to adjacent locations.

    摘要: There is provided a method for manufacturing a double-chamber container including an agent storage chamber and a solution storage chamber separated from each other by a weak seal portion, the method including the steps of: preparing a first sheet-like member including a first agent storage chamber forming portion and a first solution storage chamber forming portion whose one sides are joined to each other, as well as a second sheet-like member including a second agent storage chamber forming portion and a second solution storage chamber forming portion whose one sides are joined to each other; and forming the agent storage chamber and the solution storage chamber by joining the first and the second sheet-like members. The weak seal portion is formed by joining the one side of the first medical solution storage chamber forming portion and the one side of the second medical solution storage chamber forming portion.

    摘要: A method of forming a bag assembly by RF welding includes generating from a single source of RF energy a high frequency electric field having a first strength between tube-welding electrodes of opposing die members and a second strength less than said first strength between perimeter-welding electrodes of the opposing die members. Subjecting a tube assembly and corresponding portions of sheets surrounding the tube assembly to the high frequency electric field of said first strength for a predetermined amount of time to weld the sheets to a tube along a tube-weld. Corresponding portions of the sheets between the perimeter-welding electrodes are subjected to the high frequency electric field of said second strength for said predetermined amount of time to weld the sheets together along a bladder perimeter-weld. The subjecting steps are performed simultaneously so that the bag assembly is formed in one welding operation.
