Abstract: An extruded or molded article containing iron based oxygen scavenger, electrolytes, activated carbon, silica gel, or other water absorbing media, and optionally pore formers, is subjected to deformation to create voids or porosity, and subjected to water spraying or dipping to obtain a water activity of 0.4 or higher. The article is placed in a container or package containing oxygen sensitive articles.

Abstract: A specimen slicing guide is provided for assisting in slicing a specimen taken from a human or an animal. The specimen slicing guide includes a base extending in a direction having a horizontal component. A plurality of needles extend from the base with gaps provided between the needles in the extension direction of the base. The needles extend at least substantially parallel to each other and at least substantially perpendicular to the horizontal component of base. A needle spacer has a plurality of holes and the plurality of needles are respectively disposed in the plurality of holes. The needle spacer is configured to press against the specimen and to move relative to the base.

Abstract: A sheet cutting apparatus and a sheet cutting method using the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the sheet cutting apparatus includes a holder for rotatably supporting a sheet roll, a lamination unit for pulling and unwinding a front end of the sheet unwound from the sheet roll, a table on which the sheet unwound by the lamination parts is attached, and a tension unit for giving tension to the sheet attached on the table. Since the sheet cutting apparatus may cut the sheet consistently and stably, product quality and production efficiency should increase.
