摘要： Hockey sticks or other tubular shafts have historically been cut using a hack saw with the shaft resting on the lip of a garbage can resulting in slow and inaccurate cuts. A new device for cutting a shaft comprises a holder for receiving the shaft, and an arm rotatably mounted at an end of the holder. The holder includes an internal passage, sized to receive the shaft, which extends outwardly through an opening at the end of the internal passage. A set of jaws are mounted on the rotating arm, each jaw includes a saw blade extending across the opening perpendicular to the shaft. The jaws are spring biased together at a first end for engaging the shaft, whereby relative rotation of the arm and the holder results in the saw blades sawing the end of the shaft off with high precision. Each jaw may include a lever arm extending from a second end thereof configured to receive an application of a user force to overcome the spring bias force to enable the set of jaws to be separated for mounting the shaft therebetween.

摘要： A power saw tool including a housing, a motor, and a reciprocating shaft. A blade clamp assembly is mounted to the reciprocating shaft and adapted for gripping a saw blade. The blade clamp assembly includes a main body defining a channel for engaging the saw blade. A latch arm is pivotally attached to the main body and rotatable about a pivot axis. A locking catch extends from the latch arm and retains the saw blade within the channel. A latch release extends from the latch arm. An actuator is provided to selectively engage the latch release and permit removal of the saw blade from the blade clamp assembly. The power saw tool may include a speed limiter housed within the handle grip to delimit rearward travel of the trigger switch, thereby restricting the speed of the motor. The power saw tool may also include a rotatable shoe assembly.

A pointer is movable to trace the contour of a pattern and to guide the movement of the rack subject to the contour of the pattern via a connection bar connected between the rack and the pointer. A rolling cutter is inserted through the worktable and the rack and is rotatable to cut the workpiece carried in the rack. A motor drive is arranged for rotating the rolling cutter. A support arm is fixedly mounted on the base, a first cutter holder is connected to the support arm to hold one end of the rolling cutter, and a second cutter holder is mounted in the base to hold the other end of the rolling cutter.

Two brackets are formed at both distal ends of the arm cover to embrace the upper arm from both sides. Upright portions of a work retainer holding member are overlapped with the brackets. The brackets and the upright portions of the work retainer holding member are fastened to each other by a fastening unit including a screw rod which passes laterally through at least one of the overlapped portions of the bracket and the upright portions of the work retainer holding member. A longitudinal hole is formed in the upright portions of the work retainer holding member. The work retainer is fixed to a lower portion of the work retainer holding member.
