    摘要： An integrated mechanical stop and securing apparatus for the safe positioning and securing of a short cut-off workpiece in close proximity to a cutting tool during a cutting operation. The mechanical stop is attached to a fence, work surface or similar structure using a moveable clamp. The workpiece stop further includes a pivotally attached securing member that abuts a surface of a workpiece during a cutting operation involving a relatively short cut-off. Biasing force for the securing member is provided by an operator grasping a handle on the securing member. Increased safety is provided when the stop device maintains the operator's hands outside of the effective cutting area of the power tool, while providing an accurate and reliable stop to index the cut.

    摘要： A chain gripping device has a body which is arranged to be secured within the base clamps of a circular abrasive cutting saw. A clamping member supported on the body is arranged to clamp one of the links of the chain to be cut therein so that the link is in alignment with a cutting plane of the blade of the saw when the body is secured within the clamps of the saw. The clamping member includes jaws arranged to clamp only one side portion of the link to be clamped at a pair of positions spaced apart thereon to receive the blade therebetween to fully secure a link of a chain being cut throughout a cutting operation in a safe and secure manner.

The two first links are operationally connected to the rack member by two respective rack ends and the two second links are pivotably connected between the first links and the pressing board which is lowered or lifted by the pivotal movement of the first and second links. Two sensors are provided and activated when the first link assembly is moved to a pre-set positions and the sensors send commands to stop the motor.

    摘要： A tool 10, 60, or 100 used to hold a bagel 22 upright while being sliced from edge to edge with a blade 28 of a knife 30. Each tool 10, 60, and 100 includes a base 12 having a top surface 12a adapted to support the bagel 22 by an edge of the bagel 22. An upright support plate 14 is removably mounted to the base 12 and has opposed lateral sides and opposed faces 14a ad 14b. A pair of knife blade guides 16 and 18 are attached to the base 12 opposite each other, each guide being positioned near one of the opposed sides of the upright support plate 14 and spaced apart to provide therebetween a cutting zone 24. A positioning structure regulates the thickness of the sliced segments of the bagel 22, and includes the upright support plate 14. By removal of the support plate and reversing the position of the support plate by remounting in a reverse orientation, the positions of the faces 14a and 14b are reversed, with the one face that was initially next to the cutting zone 24 changing its position and the other face being moved to the cutting zone 24.
