摘要: A high-density layer can be formed and adherence increased by causing a slurry formed primarily from an electrode active material and a solvent and a slurry formed primarily from electrolyte particles and the solvent to alternately collide with a subject material with an impact force and to adhere and be layered thereon in thin film. A slurry formed primarily from a conductive additive and the solvent is separately created and is coated in a dispersed manner in a small quantity at a desired position. Carbon residue is eliminated or greatly reduced and battery performance improved by eliminating a binder or greatly reducing the binder content.

Additionally or alternatively, the method can include any or all of: preprocessing the set of buoyant particles; adding a set of inputs to the reaction vessel; washing the set of buoyant particles; repeating one or more; and/or any other suitable process(es).

摘要: A golf ball includes a core, a cover and a coating layer disposed entirely about an outer surface of the cover. The coating layer is opaque about an entirety of the outer surface of the cover and consists of three regions: a first color region, a second color region, and a transition color region disposed between the first color region and the second color region about an entire circumference of the golf ball. The first color region consists of a spray-painted first color. The second color region consists of a spray-painted second color that is different than the spray-painted first color. The transition color region consists of a combination of the spray-painted first color and the spray-painted second color, wherein said combination produces a transitional color that is a spectrophotometer-measurable different color than both the first and the second colors.

The methods and systems include sequential application of low flow and high flow powder coatings followed by a single heating step to provide a cured coating. The methods and systems include a marker that allows coating uniformity to be monitored and assessed during application. 摘要: A method and apparatus for applying or dropping granules onto the asphalt coated surface of a moving sheet in shingle manufacturing is disclosed. The method includes sharing each drop between two or more blend rolls with a subsequent blend roll or rolls applying a partial drop directly on top of partial drops already applied by a first blend roll or rolls. High production speeds can be accommodated since each roll can be operated at slower rotation rates and with slower acceleration and deceleration requirements than would be required if the full granule drop were applied during the same time interval with a single blend roll.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to protective coatings on an aerospace component and methods for depositing the protective coatings. The protective coating can be anti-coking coatings to reduce or suppress coke formation when the aerospace component is heated in the presence of a fuel. In one or more embodiments, a method for depositing the protective coating on an aerospace component includes exposing the aerospace component to a cleaning process to produce a cleaned surface on the aerospace component and sequentially exposing the aerospace component to a precursor and a reactant to form a protective coating on the cleaned surface of the aerospace component by an atomic layer deposition (ALD) process. The aerospace component can be one or more of a fuel nozzle, a combustor liner, a combustor shield, a heat exchanger, a fuel line, a fuel valve, or any combination thereof.
