摘要: An apparatus for producing spherical metallic powders through continuous ball milling. The apparatus includes a comminution component. The comminution component includes an inlet to receive a metallic material at a first region within the comminution component and an outlet to dispense the metallic powder from a second region within the comminution component. The apparatus includes a plurality of grinding components to grind the metallic material, the plurality of grinding components being arranged within the comminution component. The apparatus includes a drive component, connected with the comminution component, to induce movement of the metallic material and the plurality of grinding components within the comminution component such that the metallic material is fragmented through contact with the plurality of grinding components at the first region and an external surface of the fragmented metallic material is altered at the second region to produce the metallic powder.

摘要: A direct visual monitoring system for sensing the interior of a rotary mineral mill which comprises a monitoring unit, a main control unit and an operation and management unit wherein the monitoring unit is located inside a feed hopper and adjusted according to the physical characteristics of said feed hopper and in accordance with the dimensions of the mill, so as to allow for a direct view of the interior of the mill. The operating method comprises arranging inside a monitoring unit, a container of sensors for sensing the inner temperature thereof; determining the acceleration on the vertical axis, on the horizontal lateral axis and on the front horizontal axis, according to the time; obtaining two-dimensional images of the geometric conditions of the interior of the mill; obtaining two-dimensional thermal images of the interior of the mill and executing a detection of distance in one or more planes.

摘要: An improvement in an apparatus and a method produces a particle dispersion by processing a particle-carrying feedstock passed from a supply vessel through a bed of media contained within a containment wall having an inlet end and a longitudinally opposite terminal end. An auxiliary chamber surrounds the containment wall so that the feedstock is passed from the bed of media, through the containment wall and into the auxiliary chamber while the media is contained within the bed of media. An external pumping mechanism established a pressure differential that draws the feedstock into the containment wall and through the bed of media, then through the containment wall into the auxiliary chamber, and then out of the auxiliary chamber at a location juxtaposed with the containment wall between the inlet end and the terminal end, while maintaining a negative pressure within the supply vessel and within the auxiliary chamber during processing of the feedstock.

摘要: The present invention is directed toward a material handling, processing and milling facility which utilizes ball milling as a means for material grinding, mixing or mechanical alloying of materials. The system includes an automatic ball charging, agitating and indexing assembly, constructed and arranged to deagglomerate and directly distribute a plurality of grinding balls to the facility. Additional components of the system include an open raceway, in mechanical engagement with the automatic ball charging, agitating and indexing assembly, a bucket elevator for receiving the grinding balls from the open raceway and elevating them to a gravity fed transport system, at least one transporting device for receiving the grinding balls from the bucket elevator; and a ball mill for receiving the grinding balls from the at least one transporting device.

摘要: A grinding mill has an outer housing and a rotor mounted in the housing to form a grinding zone between the housing and rotor into which a charge to be ground is introduced. A pair of spaced rings are located at the entranceway to the grinding zone to form an annular gap through which the charge passes. At least one of the rings is adjustable to vary the gap width in response to one or more mill operating parameters. The rings control the flow of the charge into the grinding zone and reduce the size of the charge particles before they enter the grinding zone.

摘要: An agitator mill comprises a grinding receptacle and a rotarily drivable agitator arranged therein. A grinding-stock supply mouthes into the grinding chamber; a grinding-stock discharge leads out of the grinding chamber. The grinding chamber is at least partially filled with auxiliary grinding bodies. The grinding-stock discharge is embodied as a device for grinding stock suction and auxiliary-grinding-body separation, comprising a plunge pipe which dips into a bed of grinding stock and auxiliary grinding bodies and from which, above the grinding receptacle, discharges a suction pipe with a grinding-stock suction device.

摘要: A particulate grinding method and device applies different force fields to drive the grinding medium and the particulates move in different routes but collide only at a grinding area so that they are separated naturally without conventional screening mechanisms, such as a screen or a gap, and prevented from the limitation of mechanical size of the components. Moreover, the invention is applicable to finer particulates. The circulation of particulates is not limited by any small gap of screening mechanisms, so the particulates ill not block the separator.
