    摘要: Heat generated by the first stage compressor while it is running (either loaded or unloaded in the recycled purge air dryer system is recaptured by a stream of dried, cool system air drawn off of the outlet of a online drying tower in an air compressor system via a purge heat exchanger placed after the first stage compressor. The dried, hot air is used help regenerate the offline tower. This regenerating, pressurized, and heated purge air is then cooled in its passage across or through the desiccant in the regenerating tower. It then reenters the main airflow at the outlet of the first stage air compressor as wet cool pressurized purge air. This process is completely closed loop within the system, achieving zero air loss, and avoiding dew point spikes, increasing the efficiency of the air compressor system.

    摘要: An ozone containing gas stream is produced from oxygen by subjecting oxygen to an electric discharge and the ozone is then adsorbed on to a solid adsorbent, such as zeolite, the oxygen containing stream leaving the adsorbent is recycled to the ozonising process. Periodically, oxygen adsorbed on the adsorbent is desorbed by co-currently passing a purge gas over the adsorbent and the desorbed oxygen is also recycled to the ozoniser. Lastly ozone is desorbed from the adsorbent by a counter-current flow of purge gas and used in an ozone demanding process.

    摘要: A process for the treatment of a gaseous mixture by adsorption with variable pressure, in an adsorption installation comprising at least one adsorber. For each adsorber, there is a succession of steps defining an adsorption phase, a regeneration phase for the adsorbent comprising a depressurization step, and a pressure increase phase. The passage from one phase to the following comprises switching of at least one valve between open and closed positions. At least one valve switching is carried out according to a programmed progressive slope to control a first cocurrent decompression stage of the adsorber with transfer of gas toward a lower pressure portion of the installation. The transferred gas is sent, for at least partially balancing pressure, to another adsorber in a pressure increase phase.
