Abstract: A series of vertically oriented filters of decreasing pore size is sealed from the atmosphere. Pressurized gas is used to force the liquid to be filtered through the filters. The filter stages are thermally insulated from ambient temperatures in order to maintain the liquid passing through at a reduced temperature. Each filter stage has a removable lid, which provides convenient access for replacing the filter cartridge, allowing it to be changed without disturbing the thermally insulated sidewalls of the filter stage.

The gas stream is rapidly cooled to liquefy the oil into entrained droplets. The oil is collected with a collection solvent.

Abstract: A floating chemical dispenser is disclosed that is configured to dispense a chemical into a body of water, such as pool water. The chemical dispenser includes a float attached to a container. The container contains a chemical composition, such as a chlorine source. The container also defines an aperture that allows water to enter the container at a controlled rate. When the dispenser is placed in a body of water, water enters the container and gradually dissolves and releases the chemical. An end cap is position on the container and rotates between a closed position and at least one chemical dispensing position. The end cap further includes a locking device that locks the end cap into a closed position to prevent inadvertent release of the chemical.

Abstract: Provided herein is process and system for the production of high-quality lignin by treating the post-fermentation solids. In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a novel process comprising: providing a solid material remaining at the end of a fermentation process, wherein the fermentation process utilizes a lignocellulosic biomass feedstock; extracting lignin from the solid material into a liquid phase; and recovering lignin from liquid phase. In some embodiments, the fermentation process produces one or more of ethanol, n-butanol, iso-butanol, lactic acid, polyhydroxyalkanoates, succinic acid, 1,3-propanediol and 1,4-butanediol. In one embodiment's, the fermentation process produces ethanol.

According to one embodiment, the method includes the steps of (a) extracting cannabinoids from Cannabis plant; and (b) admixing the cannabinoids into a coffee product. The disclosed methods produce coffee products that possesses the benefits of both coffee and Cannabis plant. The methods can be used to produce different coffee products including single-serve coffee pods, ground coffee, and espresso. The methods are used to make coffee products with desired and consistent amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
