    摘要: Disclosed is a method for the purification of bee venom on a mass scale. It comprises dissolving crude bee venom in a solvent to form a bee venom solution; applying an adsorbent to the bee venom solution to form a mixture; and removing the adsorbent through filtration to afford a pure bee venom solution. By the method of the present invention, crude bee venom collected from bee farms can be purified to a purity of 99% or higher on a mass scale, without inducing a change in the composition thereof, and thus the purified bee venom can be used as a material for medicines, cosmetics and foods.

    摘要: A protein fraction and an oxidation stable fat fraction are recovered from meat trimmings. The trimmings are comminuted, mixed with a food grade acid at pH 3,6 to 4.4 to form a liquid protein fraction and a solid fat fraction. The liquid fraction is mixed with a food grade alkali to precipitate the protein. A myoglobin rich fraction is recovered from the protein fraction and mixed with the precipitated protein.

    摘要: A pulse protein product having a protein content of at least about 50 wt % (N×6.25) d.b. is recovered in the processing of pulse protein source material to form pulse protein products wherein the pulse protein source is extracted in one embodiment with calcium salt solution. The resulting pulse protein solution is separated from the bulk of the residual pulse protein source and then the pulse protein solution is processed to remove finer residual solids, which are optionally washed and then dried to provide the pulse protein product. In another embodiment, the pulse protein source is extracted with water, the bulk of the residual protein source removed and the resulting pulse protein solution treated with calcium salt to precipitate phytic acid. The precipitated phytic acid and any finer residual solids remaining in solution after the initial separation step are removed from the pulse protein solution then optionally washed and dried to provide the pulse protein product.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for preparation of highly purified mogrosides mixture from low purity mogrosides mixture. The process comprises providing a mixture of low purity mogrosides, dissolving the low purity mogrosides mixture in water or an aqueous alcohol solution to form an initial solution of mogrosides, passing the initial solution through a column system, wherein the column system comprises a plurality of columns, and each column is packed with a sorbent having different affinities to impurities and mogrosides so that one or more columns retains more mogrosides than other columns, washing the columns to remove impurities with an acidic aqueous solution, a basic aqueous solution, and an aqueous alcoholic solution successively, eluting the columns with an aqueous alcohol solution that contains higher alcohol content than the aqueous alcohol solution used in the washing step, wherein the eluate from the columns with high content of mogrosides are combined, and drying the combined eluate to obtain high purity mogrosides with the content of the total mogrosides are more than 70% (w/w). The present invention also provides a sweetener mixture and product comprising high purity mogrosides.
