Abstract: A vapor chamber includes a wick structure created by an additive selective laser sintering process. The wick structure includes a substrate, a first copper powder layer, a second copper powder layer, and a plurality of additional layers. The first copper powder layer is deposited across the substrate, wherein the first copper powder layer is subsequently selectively fused via a fusing instrument. The second copper powder layer is deposited across the first copper powder layer, wherein the second copper powder layer is subsequently selectively fused via the fusing instrument. Additionally, a plurality of additional copper powder layers are deposited wherein each additional layer is deposited on the previous layer, wherein each of the additional copper powder layers is selectively fused with a predetermined structure.

The present disclosure is a composition supply method including: a filling step of filling a container with a composition containing n-butylamine in an amount of 99.5% by volume or more and isobutylamine in an amount of 0.001% by volume or more and 0.5% by volume or less; a warming step of warming the container filled with the composition to 50° C. or higher; and a gas supply step of supplying a gas containing n-butylamine and isobutylamine from the warmed container to a predetermined device.

Abstract: A water-vapor generating apparatus used for reforming a hydrocarbon fuel is disclosed. The water-vapor generating apparatus includes a chamber body; a partitioning member to divide a space defined in the chamber body into a water-vapor discharge space and a heating space; a tubular pipe having a first opened end in water-communication with an external water-supply apparatus and a second opened end in vapor-communication with the water-vapor discharge space, wherein the tubular pipe extends through the heating space; and a heater configured to supply thermal energy to the heating space. Such a water-vapor generating apparatus may supply water-vapor, in a stable and uniform manner, to a fuel reforming apparatus.

Abstract: In a desalination system, a water-repellent particle layer is provided at a lower portion of a water tank and composed of water-repellent particles. A devolatilizing layer is provided below the layer. Liquid is provided in the tank and is heated for evaporation, and obtained vapor passes through the particle layer and is liquefied at the devolatilizing layer, so that freshwater is obtained from the liquid. The particle layer includes a first and a second particle layers composed of discriminable first and second particles. A particle measuring unit measures an amount of the second water-repellent particles. A decision unit decides whether or not the measured amount of the second water-repellent particles is equal to or more than a predetermined value. A controller alerts when the decision unit decides that the amount of the second particles is equal to or more than the predetermined value.

Abstract: The method for producing a vapor composition containing lactic acid of the present invention is capable of suppressing the generation of by-products such as acetaldehyde and carbon monoxide due to pyrolysis of a lactic acid species during vaporization. Furthermore, a lactic acid oligomer generated can be effectively used without loss, and a vapor composition containing lactic acid can be industrially efficiently produced stably for a long time. The present invention relates to a method for producing a vapor composition containing lactic acid including: feeding a liquid composition containing lactic acid to a vaporizer; mixing the liquid composition with a liquid composition containing a lactic acid oligomer contained in the vaporizer to prepare a liquid mixture; and heating the liquid mixture to vaporize part of the liquid mixture, whereby a vapor composition containing lactic acid is produced.

Abstract: A fuel cell system comprising a fuel cell stack, an evaporator for evaporating a mixture of methanol and water to be forwarded through a catalytic reformer for producing portions of free hydrogen. The fuel cell stack being composed of a number of proton exchange membrane fuel cells each featuring electrodes in form of an anode and a cathode for delivering an electric current. The liquid fuel using a. pre-evaporator, which. partly evaporates the fuel, followed by a. nozzle, which atomizes the fuel into a fine mist, before being passed to the final evaporation zone. This configuration ensures that liquid fuel for producing thermal, neat is converted into a form that facilitates a burner to achieve a quick heating up of the fuel, cell system into production mode.

Abstract: Vaporized hydrogen peroxide is used for decontamination of enclosed and sealed areas. It is capable of destroying all forms of microbial life. It is commonly produced from a solution of liquid H2O2 and water, by means of generators specifically designed for the purpose. The present invention provides a combined source for heating steam and vaporized hydrogen peroxide and a method for simultaneously supplying steam and vaporized hydrogen peroxide. A device according to the invention comprises a chamber adapted for receiving water through an inlet and expelling steam through an outlet. A vessel for receiving and vaporizing hydrogen peroxide solution is provided in close contact with the chamber. Heat from the water vapor in the chamber is allowed to supply the required energy for producing hydrogen peroxide vapor in the vessel from an aqueous solution.
