摘要: A drug delivery device includes a dose counting mechanism and an end-of-content or remaining-dose indication. For example, a dose expelling mechanism is coupled to a reciprocating element configured to undergo a predefined motion during each dose expelling action to allow a dose to be expelled. The predefined motion includes displacement in a first axial direction from a first position to a second position followed by displacement in a second axial direction from the second position to the first position, with a counter element being movable in the first axial direction. First and second unidirectional ratchet mechanisms prevent motion in the first axial direction and allow motion in the second axial direction of the reciprocating element relative to the counter element, and vice versa, respectively.

摘要: Embodiments relate to using sensor data and location data from a device to generate augmented reality images. A mobile device pose can be determined (a geographic position, direction and a three dimensional orientation of the device) within a location. A type of destination in the location can be identified and multiple destinations can be identified, with the mobile device receiving queue information about the identified destinations from a server. A first image can be captured. Based on the queue information, one of the identified destinations can be selected. The geographic position of each identified destination can be identified, and these positions can be combined with the mobile device pose to generate a second image. Finally, an augmented reality image can be generated by combining the first image and the second image, the augmented reality image identifying the selected one destination.

摘要: A drug delivery device for delivering a dose of a medicament and a safety assembly for a drug delivery device, wherein the drug delivery device comprises a housing assembly, and a drive mechanism for delivering the dose, in response to activation. The drug delivery device further comprises an activation mechanism comprising a rotatable activation member (310), in response to an axial movement of the activation member, wherein the activation member (310) is adapted to be arranged in: (i) a first angular position, and (ii) a second angular position, wherein activation is allowed. The drug delivery device further comprises a ring member (390) as a part of a safety assembly. The ring member (390) is rotatable and axially splined to the activation member (310). Hereby, the ring member (390) is adapted to transfer a rotation to the activation member (310) from the first position to the second position, in response to a rotation of the ring member, whereby a user can rotate the activation member (310) without unintentionally activating the drive mechanism.

摘要: An dual-dose syringe system is an apparatus that includes a tubular housing and a plunger. The tubular housing attaches onto a variety of syringe and needle assemblies and mounts the plunger within the syringe. The tubular housing prevents the plunger from simply traversing into the syringe. The tubular housing includes a first lateral-half portion and a second lateral half-portion that snaps onto each other and encloses a syringe. The tubular housing further includes a key slot that engages the plunger. The plunger includes a plurality of cross bars that predetermine two doses. Each of the plurality of cross bars is positioned perpendicular to a corresponding adjacent bar, forcing a user to purposefully twist the plunger in order to administer a dose. The apparatus further includes at least one spring-loaded barb that prevents the reuse of the apparatus.
