摘要: A syringe holder for facilitating dispensing of medication to a patient from a syringe. The syringe holder includes a cylindrical housing configured to be attached to a barrel portion of the syringe. A first visual dosing aid on a surface of the cylindrical housing is of a first color and has a plurality of first dosing segments where the first color is correlated to a first patient size. Each of the first dosing segments identifies a volume of the medication corresponding to a first medication dose. A second visual dosing aid on a surface of the cylindrical housing is of a second color and has a plurality of second dosing segments where the second color is correlated to a second patient size. Each of the second dosing segments identifies a volume of the medication corresponding to a second medication dose.

摘要: A testing assembly for a drug delivery device is disclosed. The testing assembly can include a pressure vessel having a sealed pressure chamber that is configured to be pressurized to a predetermined pressure. The pressure vessel further defines an injection opening extending from an exterior thereof to the pressure chamber. A pierceable barrier extends over and seals the injection opening. The testing assembly further includes a measurement device disposed within the pressure chamber and a container aligned with the injection opening, such that the container is configured to collect a dose of a drug delivered via a drug delivery device through the pierceable barrier and the measurement device is configured to measure the dose of the drug.

The supplementary device comprises a non-contact sensor configured to output signals indicative of the position of a moveable component within the drug delivery device. The supplementary device further comprises a processor configured to receive the signals output from the non-contact sensor. This processor is additionally configured to determine, based on the signals, whether the drug delivery device is in a pre-activation state or a post-activation state.

摘要: A syringe packaging system that includes a packaging member defining a first compartment, a second compartment, and a third compartment that are in gaseous communication theretogether is disclosed. The first compartment is structured to receive a syringe barrel therein, the second compartment is structured to receive a plunger rod therein, and the third compartment is structured to receive an oxygen absorber therein. With the packaging member enclosing the syringe barrel, the plunger rod, and the oxygen absorber, the oxygen absorber is adapted to draw oxygen from within the syringe barrel and to absorb oxygen contained within at least one of the first compartment, the second compartment, and the third compartment of the packaging member. The syringe packaging system of the present disclosure also allows for reduced storage space of a syringe assembly.
