摘要: The present disclosure provides an inner tubular body for a medicament delivery device. The inner tubular body extends along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end. The inner tubular body includes a distal part and a proximal part. The distal part includes a flexible arm extending distally, the flexible arm comprises a first spring support at the distal end of the flexible arm and a plunger rod support at the distal end of the flexible arm. The first spring support is inclined in a radially inward direction and is configured to support a distal end of a drive spring of the medicament delivery device when the medicament delivery device is in a non-activated state. The distal part further includes a second spring support extending distally and being configured to support the distal end of the drive spring of the medicament delivery device when the medicament delivery device is in an activated state. The plunger rod support is configured to engage with a plunger rod of the medicament delivery device in order to inhibit a proximal movement of the plunger rod when the medicament delivery device is in the non-activated state. The first spring support is configured to interact with an activation button that is at a distal end of the medicament delivery device. Triggering of the activation button allows a radial outward deflection of the flexible arm thereby disengaging the plunger rod support from the plunger rod and disengaging the first spring support from the distal end of the drive spring.

摘要: An automatic injection device including a generally cylindrical syringe body having an opening, an outlet and an inner cylindrical surface adapted to contain an injectable liquid to be injected at an injection site via the outlet; a piston disposed in the cylindrical syringe body; a driving assembly, including an elongate plunger element having a forward end adapted to be axially inserted into the generally cylindrical syringe body and an at least partial forward sealing element mounted onto the elongate plunger element adjacent the forward end for creating an at least temporary slidable seal between the elongate plunger element and the inner cylindrical surface, whereby axial insertion of the elongate plunger element and the forward sealing element into the generally cylindrical syringe body creates friction between the forward sealing element and the inner cylindrical surface and also creates an at least temporary air spring between the forward sealing element and the piston, wherein the friction and the air spring dampen motion of the elongate plunger element.

摘要: A system includes a tubing set and a drive assembly. The tubing set includes inlet tubing couplable to a source of fluid, a valve coupled to the inlet tubing, a syringe coupled to the inlet tubing via the valve, and outlet tubing coupled to the valve. The valve is configured to allow fluid to be drawn from the source of fluid via the inlet tubing into a syringe body of the syringe and to be expelled from the syringe body and through the outlet tubing, and to prevent fluid from being drawn from the outlet tubing into the syringe body and to prevent fluid expelled from the syringe body from flowing through the inlet tubing. The drive assembly is configured to reversibly receive the tubing set such that a drive mechanism is engaged with a plunger of the syringe to reciprocally translate the plunger relative to the syringe body.

摘要: An autoinjector for dispensing a liquid product, in particular a highly viscous medication, includes: a housing, a product container, which is arranged in the housing and has a slidable piston, wherein the piston can be slid in a dispensing direction in order to dispense the product contained in the product container, a forward drive element, which acts on the piston as the product is being dispensed, a first spring, which is preloaded such that the product can be dispensed from the product container by the sliding of the forward drive element and the piston, and a rotation element, which is operatively coupled to the forward drive element, wherein the first spring acts on the rotation element in such a way that the rotation element is set into rotation in order to dispense the product, wherein the rotation element or the forward drive element has a thread having a variable pitch.

摘要: A portable auto-injector configured to store a dry medication separately from a liquid component, wherein removal of a cap operates a first actuation mechanism which opens a sliding valve and thus allows for the initiation of a mixing step prior to injection. An extendable needle guard is provided over the delivery assembly which prevents premature injection as well as inadvertent sticks or other cross contamination of a needle. The needle guard can also form part of a secondary trigger mechanism which injects the mixed components after the mixing stage is complete.
