    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a backrest interlocking type frame for a foldable wheelchair. The backrest interlocking type frame includes: a seat frame which includes a first horizontal bar and a second horizontal bar spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval and arranged at the top and the bottom of the seat frame, a first mounting member, a second mounting member, and a third mounting member mounted between the first horizontal bar and the second horizontal bar to be spaced apart from one another, a first bracket mounted on the first mounting member and a second bracket mounted on the second mounting member; a backrest frame which includes a first vertical bar and a second vertical bar formed integrally, wherein one end of the first vertical bar is rotatably mounted on the third mounting member of the seat frame through a first hinge portion, and both ends of a rail are fixed between the second mounting member and the third mounting member of the seat frame; a horizontally foldable frame rotatably mounted on the first bracket and the second bracket of the seat frame; and a transfer block mounted on the rail to move along the rail, wherein one end of a retractor is rotatably mounted on the transfer block through a third hinge portion, the other end of the retractor is rotatably mounted on the second vertical bar of the backrest frame through a second hinge portion, so that the horizontally foldable frame is operated to be folded when the backrest frame is folded downwardly, thereby reducing the overall width of the seat frame.

    Abstract: Provided is an automatic folding electronic car that is driven with power supplied from a battery and folded automatically including: a body portion to which a front frame and a rear frame are connected rotatably through a connection shaft and on which a support shaft is formed on an upper part of the rear frame so as to support the front frame from a rear side; a front wheel portion that is arranged on a front of the body portion and is provided with a pair of front wheels connected through a front wheel shaft and a braking means; a rear wheel portion that is arranged on a rear of the body portion and is provided with a pair of rear wheels connected through a rear wheel shaft and a driving means; a handle portion including a handle frame connected upright to the front wheel shaft, an operation panel arranged on an upper part of the handle frame and provided with a folding switch and a handle formed on an upper part and provided with an acceleration lever and a hand brake; a seat portion a front of which is connected rotatably to the front frame and a rear of which is connected to the rear frame in an up down adjustable way of height and on which a sensing sensor is arranged; and a controller for controlling a driving and folding of the electronic car.

    Abstract: A foldable wheelchair includes two side frames, each having a front wheel and a rear wheel mounted thereon, and a scissor-type element arranged between the side frames and having two scissor-type arms that are mounted pivotably in the side frames in one scissor-type element end. The scissor-type arms are mounted pivotably in another scissor-type element end in manually actuable actuating members that are mounted pivotably to the side frames at a distance from the pivot axis of the other scissor-type element end. A folding hinge is mounted pivotably in the side frames and is arranged at a distance from the other scissor-type element end. An actuating means is connected pivotably to the folding hinge at a distance from the side frames and is effective between the folding hinge and one of the actuating members at a distance from the pivot axis of the actuating member in the associated side frame.     Abstract: A wheelchair comprises a frame and first and second rear wheels that are each independently mounted to the frame via a respective mounting hub. Each rear wheel is detachably mounted to its respective mounting hub at two or more distinct hub mounting points. Either or both of the hub mounting points can be movable with respect to a remainder of the hub, for example via a pivoting arrangement. A disk can be positioned at the rear wheel and a stop element located at the mounting hub can be selectively operated to interfere with the disk to prevent rotation of that rear wheel. The frame can comprise first and second spaced apart and unitary tubes which each extending in an unbroken manner from a wheelchair seat to a wheelchair forward region.

    Abstract: A foldable wheelchair includes a pair of front legs, a pair of rear legs, a seat frame, a dual-hinge joint, and a pair of armrests. A front pivoting means is pivotally connected to the seat frame and the front legs. A rear pivoting means is pivotally connected to the seat frame and the rear legs. A bottom of the dual-hinge joint is pivotally connected to a rear of the seat frame. A top of the dual-hinge joint is pivotally connected to a backrest body. Therefore, the front legs can be folded backward by the front pivoting means and the rear legs can be folded forward by the rear pivoting means. The tilt angle of the backrest body can be adjusted and the backrest body can be folded forward. Thereby the volume of the wheelchair can be reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bi-folding wheelchair (10) with side frames (12) and (14) that fold together with a compound scissor action moving the large rear wheels (96) to a central location while the backrest (50) is folding downwardly. Two separate locking mechanisms (28) and (40) hold the frame apart in the upright position while two additional locking mechanisms (77) hold the backrest (50) upright or down in the collapsed position. All the major components of the conventional wheelchairs like the foot rests, the arm rests, large wheels, caster wheels and the backrest fit into a compact package narrower than the unfolded wheelchair and slightly larger than the diameter of the back wheels with all parts folding in and out simultaneously. The large rear wheel assemblies can be quickly removed further reducing the size and weight of the device for shipping or storage.
