    摘要: One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a breast implant sizer assembly for accurately sizing surgically implantable breast implants prior to implantation. The breast implant sizer assembly can include an inflatable, flexible shell containing an adjustable volume of liquid and a valve assembly, once filled with liquid, that is associated with the shell and configured like an anatomically correct nipple. The breast implant sizer assembly can have a size, shape, and weight that mimics the size, shape, and weight of a breast implant. In addition, the breast implant sizer assembly is disposable, intended for single use by a patient, allows for use in the home and everyday settings, and provides accurate, actionable information to a surgeon or other medical professional in regards to selecting actual breast implant sizes for clinical use.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a connection stent and a method of manufacturing the stent. The connection stent includes: a body configured to form a plurality of cells through the intersection of wires, and provided in a hollow cylindrical shape; an upper head formed to extend from one end of the body to have a diameter larger than that of the body; and a lower head formed to extend from a remaining end of the body to have a diameter larger than that of the body. The upper head and the lower head are respectively placed to come into contact with insides of heterogeneous tissues. Accordingly, according to the present invention, there can be manufactured a stent which can connect heterogeneous tissues and form a bypass and which can provide sufficient expansion force and minimum axial force for the maintenance of the bypass formed as described above.

    摘要: A variety of configurations of implant management devices are provided. The configurations provide different combinations of features for maintaining a location of an implant with respect to the device and managing filaments of the implant. One exemplary embodiment of a device includes a generally rectangular-shaped body having an implantable body retainer, an opening disposed a distance apart from the retainer and configured to receive a ligament graft therein, and a fold extending across the body and intersecting the opening. Folding one end of the body towards a bottom surface of the body along the fold can form a filament loop engaging region to hold in tension a filament loop extending from the implant. Additional filament(s) associated with the implant can be managed by various filament retention features. Methods for preparing a ligament graft for implantation by relying upon indicia formed on a surface of the device body are also provided.

    摘要: Surgical tools, kits, and methods for breast implants are provided. One surgical tool is a rigid or semi-rigid form that matches the size and shape of a corresponding breast implant. The form may be employed to determine skin tension when inserted into a breast. The form may also be employed to mark a fixation suture line for attachment between an acellular dermal matrix and the chest wall of a patient in some instances. However, in other instances a breast implant template surgical tool may be employed to mark one or more fixation suture lines. The breast implant template may be thin and flexible, and define a perimeter matching the size and shape of a footprint of a corresponding breast implant. Marking around the perimeter of the form or the breast implant template allows for convenient selection of fixation suture lines which may result in desirable overall breast symmetry.
