    摘要: An exemplary dental composite blade includes a mounting portion and a tool portion. The tool portion may extend between a proximal end and a distal end along an arcuate tool path defined within a transverse plane. The tool portion further includes a proximal section adjacent the proximal end, a distal section adjacent the distal end, an intermediate section between the proximal and distal sections, and first and second lateral edges disposed on opposing sides of the transverse plane. The lateral edges are each preferably convex at the proximal section with respect to the transverse plane, and concave at the intermediate section with respect to the transverse plane. The mounting portion may include an elongated mounting slot for receiving a blade retention element of a blade holder. Particular embodiments of the dental composite blade may include one or more securement flaps for auxiliary engagement of the blade holder.

    摘要: To provide a method for producing an artificial tooth which is excellent in strength, abrasion resistance, hardness, low water absorption, aesthetic property, functionality, and the like within a short time, especially less than 1 hour, smoothly and simply, without requiring skill using a dental photocurable resin composition.[Solution]Disclosed is a method for producing an artificial tooth, which includes the steps of: (a) accommodating a liquid dental photocurable resin composition containing a radical polymerizable organic compound (A), a filler (B), and a photosensitive radical polymerization initiator (C) in a shaping container having a light permeable bottom face, and irradiating the dental photocurable resin composition in the shaping container with light in a predetermined shape pattern through the light permeable bottom face of the shaping container in accordance with slice data every one layer based on three-dimensional CAD data relating to a tooth to form a cured resin layer having a shape pattern for one layer; (b) lifting up the cured resin layer for one layer formed in the step (a), thereby allowing the liquid dental photocurable resin composition to flow into the space between the lower face of the cured resin layer and the bottom face of the shaping container, and irradiating the dental photocurable resin composition between the lower face of the cured resin layer and the bottom face of the shaping container with light through the light permeable bottom face of the shaping container in accordance with slice data every one layer based on three-dimensional CAD data relating to a tooth to further form a cured resin layer having a shape pattern for one layer; and (c) repeating the operation of the step (b) until the objective artificial tooth is obtained.

The method generally includes: (a) scanning an existing dental structure to generate a three-dimensional first digital model of the existing dental structure, (b) modifying the first digital model of the existing dental structure to generate a three-dimensional second digital model of a planned dental structure; (c) generating a three-dimensional third digital model corresponding to a negative of the second digital model; (d) digitally sectioning the third digital model into at least one buccal model portion and at least one lingual model portion of the third digital model; and (e) creating a dental mold comprising at least one buccal mold portion and at least one lingual mold portion based on the sectioned third digital model. The disclosure also relates to (a) methods of assembling the dental mold over a tooth and a gum of a patient having an existing dental structure in need of dental restoration, (b) methods of performing a dental restoration on the existing dental structure of the patient using the dental mold, and (c) kits including components for forming the dental mold and/or for performing the dental restoration using the dental mold.

The method comprises forming a first cavity in a block of a denture base material, the first cavity being formed to match the contour of natural teeth as arranged on maxillae or on a mandible; filling the first cavity with a first fluid synthetic tooth material and solidifying the first fluid synthetic tooth material into a first solid synthetic tooth material; removing a portion of the first solid synthetic tooth material to form the plurality of teeth; and removing a portion of the block of denture base material to form the denture base. The steps of the method may be implemented by a computer. An apparatus for making the denture according to certain embodiments of the method, and a denture comprised of a base and artificial teeth are also disclosed.
