摘要: An ambulatory medical device includes a sensor configured to acquire a signal indicative of a physiological condition of a patient, a controller operatively coupled to the sensor and configured to monitor the physiological signal, and to perform a diagnostic test, and a remote access manager operatively coupled to the controller and configured to monitor for a command from a remote system to perform the diagnostic test, and to cause the controller to perform the diagnostic test in response to the command. In the device, the remote access manager may be further configured to transmit data representing an operational status of the ambulatory medical device to the remote system. The operational status of the controller may result from performing the diagnostic test. The remote access manager may be further configured to send the data representing the operational status of the ambulatory medical device in real time or substantially in real time.

摘要: A method for determining how using a respiratory therapy system impacts sleep sessions of a user, includes receiving first activity information corresponding to actions of a user occurring prior to a use of the respiratory therapy system by the user. The first activity information includes activity information associated with use of a mobile device by the user prior to the use of the respiratory therapy system. The method also includes receiving second activity information corresponding to actions of the user occurring after the use of the respiratory therapy system. The second activity information includes activity information associated with use of the mobile device by the user after the use of the respiratory therapy system, as well as respiratory information generated by the respiratory therapy system during a sleep session of the user when using the respiratory therapy system.

摘要: A wearable cardiac defibrillator (“WCD”) system may include a support structure that a patient can wear, an energy storage module that can store an electrical charge, and a discharge circuit that can discharge the electrical charge through the patient so as to shock him or her, while the patient is wearing the support structure. Embodiments may actively take into account bystanders, both to protect them from an inadvertent shock, and also to enlist their help. In some embodiments, the WCD system includes a speaker system and a memory. Prompts have been saved in advance in the patient's own voice, and stored in the memory. In case of an emergency, the prompts may be played by the speaker system in the patient's own voice, and heard by a bystander.

摘要: A system includes an enclosure having a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The enclosure includes a display coupled to the processor where the display is visible from an exterior of the enclosure; and a battery within the enclosure coupled to the processor and the display. The enclosure includes a probe tip coupled to an exterior of the enclosure. The probe tip includes first, second, and third sensor openings. A first distance between the first and second sensor openings is different than a second distance between the first and third sensor openings. The enclosure includes code stored in the memory where the code is executable by the processor, and includes code to receive first data associated with the first and second sensor openings, code to receive second data associated with the first and second sensor openings, and code to perform SRS using the first and the second data.

摘要: A system for EIT imaging comprises an electrode array for positioning on a patient and measuring an impedance distribution, a data entry unit and a calculation unit. The electrode array contains a visual aid coupled to the electrode array for visually indicating the position of at least one electrode, the data entry module accepts an entry of data describing the position of the visual aid, and the calculation unit calculates the position of the individual electrodes relative to the patient's body and provides correction for the image creation algorithm. A sensor device for EIT imaging may comprise the electrode array, which is connectable to an EIT imaging system comprising a data entry unit and a calculation unit. An EIT imaging method may employ the system or sensor device.
